Listening to one line of him talking and not showing emotion or acting skills lets me know this is going to be the worst movie ever. It is like putting Robert De Niro in a movie with a football player, he just stands there and talks. This is going to be really bad since they got that guy from "Hustle and Flow", that is going to make 50 look so much worse.
This is the reason we are doomed. The continuing "dumbing down" of our youth, as well as the general acceptance of failure, and the hype of the criminal/gang member lifestyle. I live near a city where every other day, 14 year olds with names like Rakwaan, with their pants haning down and nylon things on their heads are involved in shoootings, stabbings, etc. The likes of 50cent are their idols.
I love it. In most stores, right near the toy section there is always a display selling posters. ALmost without fail, there is a poster of 50 cent, with a gun in hi shand, looking angry and pointing the gun at the camera/you. "Look honey, isn't that a cute poster?. Lets buy it and hang it on little Maleek's wall". Is it just me????. And what is 50 cent so angry at anyway??. Correct me of I am wrong, but he probably has millions of dollars now which I am certain he wisely invests in very large and heavy gold jewlery, wheels the size of hula-hoops for his Cadillac Escalade, and copies of "Scarface" for every room in his very large home which he is temporarilly living in, as well as a few copies playing on the 7 dvd players inside the Escalade. All this by doing nothing more than being an angry, iliterate gang member. ..."Well Mr. Cent, I've reviewed your resume. What do you think you can bring or contribute to the abc financial investment team"?....."well, yo, I mean, know what um sayin, like, its like dis, was guud, dis is how I get respect yo, I can pop a cap in tha mutha fucka, shit" (golly).
