• Having just returned from Europe, I hear quite a different story on Paris' breakup with son of the famed Greek shipping tycoon. The local papers claim that Ms. Hilton was not considered "suitable" for the young heir, and that his parents and friends urged the young heir to re-consider his wedding plans.
  Apparently Europeans don't credit Ms. Hilton with class as much as we Americans do. In fact, she is the epitome of poor Amerian taste and deplorable public behavior. In Europe, she is considered more skank than heiress.
  Rumor also has it that when the Hiltons met their future in-laws in Greece, they were not welcomed as warmly as they hoped. Apparently Miss Hilton is not as well-bred nor well suited to represent the Greek shipping family. In the US, the breakup was played up to be Miss Hilton's decision, but European papers post that ex-fiance Latsis simply wanted her to save face and went along with her story of not being ready for marriage.
