Yeah, I call bullshit. It just doesn't make sense! Why would she go for a less accurate pee test when she could get a highly accurate blood test in the hospital?
It seems like the "exclusive" of this was pretty fast, I would have never made out there was a pregnancy test in that bag. I only know because this article included the name of the test.
My thought is the same as some: why buy an EPT test when you're in the hospital? And to the anon. who suggested that a hospital test would not be private, HELLO...doctor/patient confidentiality! It'd be much more quiet to have the test done at the hospital than brought inside in a transparent plastic bag, and I doubt her limo driver would be stupid enough not to cover it up.
Bull -- the hospital is NOT confidential for a celebrity. If it were me in her shoes, I'd do the exact same thing and then go to my private doc. Well, I wouldn't have the friend bring the test in a see-through bag, but I would do the same thing.

Actually, as a law student, I can tell you that there is doctor/patient confidentiality, BUT if a 3rd party overhears it ( including a nurse who is not involved in treating the patient), this information is NOT PROTECTED and they can spread it around. Isnt that crazy? That's why there are signs in hospital elevators that say "Dont talk about patients medical history." EPT would have probably been more confidential..I mean, come on, if you were a nurse, and you overheard a doctor talking to Lindsay Lohan about her PREGNANCY test wouldn't you run out and tell all your nurse friends? And I bet paparazzi are just crawling around and totally could overhear anything like that...her lawyer probably told her that was the safest way to go.
