DUDE...where have you been? She was adopted by lionel richie and his ex-wife (who is also black)...he is now married to a white woman (i think), but that's neither here nor there...she's adopted and not the genetic progeny of lionel...

You ARE aware Lionel Ritchie isn't her bio dad right? Her birth dad is Pete Escovedo(Sheila E's brother), and her birht mother who's name I don't know was a backup singer for LR.
Both were are of Carib Afro-latino heritage which is predom African, Taino Indian, and EU Spanish (I'm Afro-Cubano,and am physically rep all 3 of the above as do many in PR, Cuba,Dom Rep etc).
Anyway, the green eyes are her's, and aren't unusual at all. It's the EU part, and "who doesn't die their hair blond!
