As I understand it, AIDs is tougher to get via oral sex. Anal sex is the "worst" since some bleeding can (does?) occur. Nonetheless, as has been stated, many other STDs can be transmitted via oral sex. But that's a minor point, really.

What amazes me is that, taken at face value, Sharon Stone's statements push women's rights back 100 years. Being a man, I know how bone-headed we can be, but I think many of us understand that "no means no." Now, Stone says, "no means a blowjob." As a father of a son, I don't want him to think this is OK (it IS rape, right? that is what I was taught if you forced someone). As the father of a daughter, I'm furious at the thought that some other son may think it's OK to force my daughter into oral sex OR for my daughter to think that is what we, as a society, think is OK.

1. As many have posted on here, oral sex is not safe. Most STDs can be transmitted that way as well.
2. More importantly, young women should never feel "pressured" into sex.
