Whitney and Bobby are the classic example of money not being equal to class, sophistication, or even, you know, basic self-respect. Seriously, how are these two f'in crackheads allowed to have custody of their kids?? They're frightening...
can't people just read one of these people's articles without picking apart every damn detail? who cares? it's funny. bobby and whitney are both fucking losers.
How is it NOT his fault?? Look at her pre-Bobby, look at her post-Bobby...ok, maybe she would have become a big druggie anyways, but at least she would have tried to hide it like a normal celeb.
When Whitney first came on the scene (circa "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"), she was so innocent-looking and adorable. I remember staying up late to catch her on Letterman and being grossed out while Paul Schaeffer openly slobbered over her during her interview with Dave. She seemed soft-spoken and shy; a real contrast to the current pop princess: foul-mouthed, trashy, anything goes Madonna. No one would have ever guessed that years later they would switch places and Madonna would evolve into a prissy, clean-living bore and Whitney would turn into the sad, scary mess she is today. Life is full of surprises.
why is it that celebrities get way with this stuff. if just an everyday normal person like us were parents like that and everyone knew we were on drugs and doing those sorts of things..our children would immediately be taken away..but not with celebrities..it should not even be about who the childs parents are..it is in the best interest to get the children away from that enviroment..why doesnt CPS do something about this?
I tried to scroll down, tried to read about Nicollete Sheridan's frigidity, but the Whitney and Bobby pics are haunting me. WTF? Whitney said she doesn't do crack, crack is wack, but she looks like a total "I'll suck yo' d*%k for two dollars" crack whore. Damn. This is sad yet perversely amusing at the same time. May Whitney come to her senses.
Sorry folks, but there is absolutely NOTHING funny about this. I know, I've been there. Everything you people think is funny about crackheads is precisely what you would be doing if the beast ever got a hold of you. BELIEVE IT. If you saw me before, or now (nine years drug-free), you would call me a liar because I don't look or act the part. Crack turns humans into animals, period.

I didn't say it was a disease. I said it was in no way funny. Again, I've been clean nine years, and it was cold turkey from a hardcore crack habit. Two years later, I quit cigarettes the same way, cold. I am very proud of both, but I am not one of these people who become hardcore in the other direction either. I still drink an occasional beer or three, but have matured enough that I am in control of myself rather than letting things control me. I know better than most what is a choice and what is a disease. But to say that someone CHOOSES to "revolve their life around it" is asinine. Once you are under the grip of a serious drug addiction, YOU NO LONGER CHOOSE ANYTHING. You simply obey what your mind and body command you to do, which is to supply it with more of what it needs. If you do not obey, they will torture you.
Torture makes people do things they would not normally do.
I had to hit absolute rock-bottom and end up literally sleeping on the street before I was clear-headed enough to wrestle with my demons. The problem with Whitney is that she is fantastically wealthy. That's actually a hindrance in this case. I doubt she will ever get clean unless the authorities act on the things people are saying and lock her up long enough to get her head straight.
I am so sick of retards calling addiction a disease. Tell that to someone who has cancer. Do they have a choice to have cancer every morning? Addicts have a choice, and they make the wrong one. Fucking losers. Don't do drugs if you can't handle it.
The first one is a choice...after that it isn't your choice anylonger. The drug addiction decides for you. Yes, it takes hitting rock bottom for some people to clean up. And as was already said, Whitney has cash, so she doesn't have to worry about running out of money and stealing, or selling her body for dope. More than likely she will never get arrested, so hopefully child services sees this and intervenes. Where the hell is her mom and close knit family she used to talk about. probably so, but that's why i DON'T TRY CRACK. whitney houston must have been arrogant enough to think she was more powerful than drugs.. look how that turned out :D
You are essentially correct, it is always a choice in the sense that the drug does not put the pipe in your mouth or flick your lighter for you. But drug addiction and alcoholism are akin to someone with a tangible disease who needs medicine to relieve pain. Say you had cancer and could not bear to live without pain medication. Would taking it be a choice? In the literal sense, yes. But in the sense that without pain meds your existence would be unbearable, it's not a choice; you need the pain meds to "live". Now imagine that you could cure your cancer by stopping your pain meds, would you want to do it? Probably. Would it be a simple choice? No. It would be an agonizing one. Add to this the illogical self-destructive behavior and inability to reason clearly or make wise choices, and you have the life of a drug addict. The only difference is that you actually can "heal" a drug addiction by ceasing to take drugs. Doing so is no less painful than in our imaginary cancer scenario, however.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a religious cult - Christian organization runs it.
Narconon is a religious cult - Scientologists run it.
Both of those cults are the ones who attached "disease" to alcoholism and drug addiction to make people stop depending on drugs and depend on their cult instead. Trade one for the other. Addiction is a CHOICE. It is not a disease and these organizations should be shut down for malpractice and helping keep people addicted.
Understanding life is not always on the frontline. We experience downfalls as well as mountain top experience, but I find no value in putting other people down to build myself up. Nothing comes without a price to be paid, if we could forsee the future a lot of things would be re-arrange to prevent heartaches. I think that Whitney has had her fair share of valley experiences, does it make her a bad person, no, it makes her human like the rest of us. If we would focus more on helping and encouraging others we would have less judges and more positive outcomes. It's so easy to criticize than be correct. I have much sympathy for a sister that has fallen, and to see the world mock in laughther is beyond my understanding. How do you mock ones shortcomings? I have seen more insults on the subject Whitney and Bobby than I have seen in a lifetime. I hope and pray that these individuals will be delivered from this stronghold. Being a crack addict is not something to be mock or ridicule, its a life of turmoil that needs more outreached hands of help. Bobby and Whitney I pray for deliverance in your life.... God Bless You Both
I dunno, I've had roommates with similar disregard for domestic affairs.
Maybe the housekeeper is on holiday. Or she's out of Comet. And the vacuum is broken. Hell, Bobby probably just nailed a prostitute on the bathroom counter and she left her stuff.
As for the AA v. NA stuff, I've paid a few visits to various AA groups over the years. The organization's roots are seeded in Christianity--it's true. And yes, there is the "Serenity" prayer, but prayer is not limited to Christians alone (though they may co-opt it at times). It's no secret that a little dose of spirituality can work wonders for somebody at there worst. I'm sure with every organization of similar ilk, some people will attempt to take advantage or "bully" other members by beating them over the head with their particular flavor of religion, creed, etc; however, it's not a warranted agenda to condemn an entire institution based on the actions of a few.
As for NA, I have no doubt that NA is nothing but a recruitment tool for the corporation (note: not a church).
AA doesn't require members to donate based upon their desired level of sobriety.
what happened! whitney used to be a "diva with class" now she's just a trash. my respect to her just falls off. before i thought madonna was a trashy crackhead and a bad mother, now it turns out the opposite.. true colors shine out with money.
by the way Cancer is a disease, drug addiction is by Choice.
Call me an asshole, but I have no sympathy for this washed-up, glassdick-sucking, pile of trash and her 'disease' (addiction).
She made her bed, let her lie in it. Let's just hope she doesnt rollover onto one of her crackpipes. Shattered glass in your back can't be fun. ;)
Someone mentioned that if she weren't a celeb her kids would be taken away. I agree. Anyone remember when she got busted with pot at a Hawaiian airport, and was allowed to go on her merry way? (Didn't they issue her a warrant for that later on??) Happens to you and I and we immediately go to jail and, if we have kids, get investigated by children's protective services.
Faith and religion aren't the answer, they're a crutch for those who can't make decisions on their own. Do you really need a book to tell you not to kill, steal or bang your neighbour's wife??
"Alcoholics Anonymous is a religious cult - Christian organization runs it."
there's a book out there now called "dry." it's about a gay guy who's definitely not a christian that gets sober with the help of AA. yes they pray and talk about a higher power and all that, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I have to agree with Jafo. Who would have guessed she would have come to this??? Madonna maybe, but NOT Whitney. She was a clean cut, church attending, superstar with a caring Mother, and the whole world at her feet. Geeze what a waste. I remember her performing "I will always love you" from The Body Guard at the Grammys many years ago. When she hit that last line of the song and her voice went into another orbit, the crowd went wild.
Who would have ever guessed she would have shined so brightly, only to go out like this. :(
I remember that too, anon 8:51! That was one of the few times I actually got chills listening to a performance on tv.
I really feel for Whitney's daughter, poor kid. Hopefully the people who are raising her are giving her extra love and attention. And despite what others have said about Whitney, I feel for her too. Nodody deserves to go out like that.
I pray that God will help her and give her the strength to change and accept the change in her live. I pray that he will guide her steps and move anything that is not in favor of her life out of her life. I pray peace over her mind and her life. I pray that all bad circumstances come to end and her life will be BETTER than BEFORE. I pray that her greater will be better than her past. I pray that God will deliver her and set her free. I pray that she get the help and strength to recover and the support from others that love her and know her. I pray that everyone that hear of her demise will pray for her and support her. I pray that she be seen as a bless child of GOD!! I Pray for her family that God strengthens them all and deliver them from any thing that is not good for them. I pray for Bobby Cristina that God will protect her and cover her. WHITNEY, WE LOVE YOU, I PRAY THAT YOU LIVE AND NOT DIE!! WE PRAY FOR YOUR STRENGTH AND YOUR ABILITY TO BEAT THIS IN JESUS NAME. WE KNOW THAT GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE TO DELIVER YOU FROM THIS, GREATER THINGS THAN THIS HE HAS SUCCEED AT THIS IS SMALL TO GOD, TRUST HIM.
I would argue about this... but until you've been addicted to a drug or tried any for that matter, you don't know what it's like. So all of you "squares" that like to input your opinions about something you will never have the pleasure of trying... well, that's your choice. I choose to smoke the occasional bowl. No i'm not addicted, and yes I get a craving every so often, but that's life. Who doesn't crave something occasionally? Whitney got addicted.. and no i don't have sympathy for her, it was her choice in the beginning. However like the ex crack-head posts, you go through torture to quit something like that. To tell you the truth, i'd love to see any of you people that consider quitting drugs an easy choice to be made, to be in that situation. For all you morons out there, one of the many definitions for disease is as follows: A condition or tendency, as of society, regarded as abnormal and harmful. So whether you consider it a disease or not, many high ranking professionals (which i'm pretty positive you are not) consider drug addictions a disease. Please post about this all you want, I love to hear from people who believe they are the experts on the subjects that they slept through in class. I'll leave you with my final thought about this whole matter from a cult classic: " With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know." I've dedicate this to all of you squares out there in the hopes that you'll realize the fact that NO person that uses drugs frequently, occasionally, or recreationally, gives a rats ass about what you think. Thank you.
I have been addicted to drugs (crack and crystal meth)It was not hard to quit when I hit what I considered to be my rock bottom, the choice was easy and I quit cold turkey just like that. Until Whitney hits what she considers to be her rock bottom nothing anybody says or does is going to make her stop. Its a choice thing not a force thing!
I have known her from back in the day when she met Bobby B. And she was a powder hound then... And I mean she left New York and Clive Cavis because HE got her hooked on coke and was damn near Pimpin her and all she was, was a disco singer, and club head.
She owed alot of dealers money and everyone seemed to give her coke all the time.
Byt the time she got to Bobby? Clive wanted her back... And hated Bobby for take'n her from him... And he put out all that shit about Bobby.
Now Whitney was never a sweet gurl in person. And when she asked Bobby to marry her...he did. And Clive Davis got mad and put out all kinds of shit about him...and made it seem that Bobby was bad, and in fact She was!
Bobby has been the ONLY good parent to the kids...and until lately most of you have been Hate'n on him...and letting her try not to feel bad about how she fucked up Bobby's career.
Now, coke is easy to find in ATL, and they do get money. And Bobby get's beat up for try'n to keep her from spending it on coke and party'n with her gurlfriends. And even try'd to get him on crack like she was.
Is she smoke'n crack? Maybe. Is he smoke'n with her? No... He is try'n to help her. But she is abusive to him when she don't get her way...and always have been.
You people will never know the real story...
And I know more than you personally.
And that pic is in Bobby's sister's house! And WHITNEY"S condo. The one she is about to loose.
Yeah...she's bad off right now. And she uses these kinds of articles and blogs and comments as why she don't care about anything but getting high anymore.
She hates what she did to Bobby...
And Bobby loves her still. And his family is caught up in the middle. Some on her side getting high..and some on his...try'n to get her off the drugs.
You don't need to know the whole story.
But you need to think about what effect all of this has on her...and him.
Believe that!
"someone who has been around them both for a while..."
Whitney is a christian, and when you are a christian everything that is of satan will try to knock you down. But the devil is a liar. Instead of people talking about what's going on and pointing the finger, maybe we as christians should pray to our big brother Jesus Christ and ask Him to help Whitney. So I'm asking on behalf of Whitney and her family, Pray for us. It's not that we forgot how to do it we just don't. The Power Of Prayer is a wonderful tool that God the Father has equipped us all with. So stop talking about it and do something about it
Where the hell did all these religious nutcases emerge from? You people think an invisible being in the sky and a make believe monster who lives in a make believe fire pit are responsible for helping or hurting this fool?
Religion is the opiate of the masses and you easily tricked people need to start thinking for yourselves. The only one who can help her is her. She needs to put down the pipe and get her shit together before she dies an early death, decomposes and turns into dust. We only live once. Then we die and we're worm food. Period.
Whitney, dear, Whitney, where has your life gone? You no longer sing a familiar, sweet song; Your face is a mess and your hair's falling out. Tell us, just what is this crack thing all about. You've been so fortunate to have everything, Right at you feet, just for being able to sing. Now, it's all a blur and you're fading really fast; It's like you're telling the world, to kiss your ass. Be that as it may, some of us do care; And then there's your daughter who's gonna need you there. Get your shit together, stop looking for a way out; There's more to life than coke and crack, and being down and out. You've brought shame to your mother, your cousin and Aretha, too. I can't imagine what they must be going through. You started out singing in church and became a pop superstar; But you turned away from your blessings; you forgot who you really are. Get up, I say, clean up your act It's time to start acting your age. 'Cause nobody pays their hard earned money, to see a corpse on stage. This is not about religion, and it ain't no friendly chat; Get yourself together, girl, 'Cause Cissy taught you better than that!!
Addicts do drugs from choice. They chose to try drugs. Nobody is forcing anybody to take drugs. If you chose to try drugs and get addicted, tough s**t to you. Do everybody a favour and die quick. Don't hang around for too long stealing, robbing, murdering to get the money to feed your choice of habit. Take a quick OD and do society a favour.
I think Whitney's downfall is incredibly sad. Like her or hate her, she was a phenomenon. She was a major presence. I don't know if she really was a "bad girl" all along, or if she was influenced. I do know there's a little girl out there who is hearing & reading terrible things about her mother. The fact is this: When you become a parent, everything changes. It's not about you anymore. It's about your child. The child did not ask to come here. It sickens me that people would rather focus on Whitney than on her precious little girl. I'm not religious, so I can't weigh in on the Christian thing. But I am a mom, & I've put my son 1st since he arrived almost 3 years ago. Yes, it meant stopping drinking wine (both financially & because I want a clear head in the event something happens to him). Granted, wine is not crack. But it's something I used to enjoy.
I do think, if all this is true, that Whitney's money has protected her. But, money runs out. Hers will as well, particularly if she's running thru it so quickly & not making any more.
I also think the fact that her sister in law, who supposedly did drugs w/ her, felt the need to do this. Had it really been for her own good, I'd think she could have done it through a more reputable medium.
Finally, I'm sad for the waste of talent. I'm sad for the waste of money. But mostly, I'm sad for that little girl. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see Whitney recovering from this. (Has anyone wondered why there have been no statements countering the things Bobby's sister said? If it were me & they were false, I'd be screaming it from the rooftops & slinging lawsuits her way!) If that's the case, I hope she ODs before she loses whatever $$ she has left & before her daughter is exposed to any more ugliness than she already has been.
What a sad society we are when we wish that drug addicts just OD and get it over with! Doing that first hit is a choice sure, but does anyone here actually think that an addict would freely choose to live in the gutter with no self respect or goals, other than scoring their next fix and satisfying their urges no matter what the cost - I don't think so!
Who here hasn't made ONE wrong decision at some stage of their lives - once off unprotected sex, drinking and driving, taking up smoking, racist comments - maybe the repercussions were serious, maybe they weren't. Maybe you became a repeat offender, maybe you came to your senses. Either way, do you deserve to be condemned and judged for the rest of your life because of that choice?
It's unfortunate that addicts can usually only be helped once they've reached rock bottom and are willing to accept assistance, but lets not forget that Whitney Houston is a flesh and blood person and that she has friends and family somewhere who love her, no matter how fucked up she has become.
It's the most heartbreaking sight in the world seeing someone you love being murdered slowly but surely like that. It renders the addict and everyone around them helpless. Cuts off your hands.
It makes me sad reading all the aggressive and simplistic posts on here. Next thing you guys will probably want to start "curing" homosexuals and blacklisting communists.

"Alcoholics Anonymous is a religious cult - Christian organization runs it."
there's a book out there now called "dry." it's about a gay guy who's definitely not a christian that gets sober with the help of AA. yes they pray and talk about a higher power and all that, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

she may have a problem like I may have to breathe to stay alive...
By vera, on 7:12 AM
I have to agree with Jafo. Who would have guessed she would have come to this??? Madonna maybe, but NOT Whitney. She was a clean cut, church attending, superstar with a caring Mother, and the whole world at her feet. Geeze what a waste. I remember her performing "I will always love you" from The Body Guard at the Grammys many years ago. When she hit that last line of the song and her voice went into another orbit, the crowd went wild.
Who would have ever guessed she would have shined so brightly, only to go out like this. :(
By Anonymous, on 8:51 AM
She doesn't look like she wants to dance with somebody....
By lucy, on 4:13 PM
I remember that too, anon 8:51! That was one of the few times I actually got chills listening to a performance on tv.
I really feel for Whitney's daughter, poor kid. Hopefully the people who are raising her are giving her extra love and attention. And despite what others have said about Whitney, I feel for her too. Nodody deserves to go out like that.
By JAFO, on 6:27 PM
Looks like she doesn't even want to smoke with somebody.
I wish she would wash that body.
By Tazznum1, on 8:19 AM
WE KNOW THAT GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE TO DELIVER YOU FROM THIS, GREATER THINGS THAN THIS HE HAS SUCCEED AT THIS IS SMALL TO GOD, TRUST HIM.

about time the knegra trash was caught, only too bad they will get off scot free like always....

Ok...

Period.
By good grief, on 1:35 PM
Whitney, dear, Whitney, where has your life gone?
You no longer sing a familiar, sweet song;
Your face is a mess and your hair's falling out.
Tell us, just what is this crack thing all about.
You've been so fortunate to have everything,
Right at you feet, just for being able to sing.
Now, it's all a blur and you're fading really fast;
It's like you're telling the world, to kiss your ass.
Be that as it may, some of us do care;
And then there's your daughter who's gonna need you there.
Get your shit together, stop looking for a way out;
There's more to life than coke and crack, and being down and out.
You've brought shame to your mother, your cousin and Aretha, too.
I can't imagine what they must be going through.
You started out singing in church and became a pop superstar;
But you turned away from your blessings; you forgot who you really are.
Get up, I say, clean up your act
It's time to start acting your age.
'Cause nobody pays their hard earned money, to see a corpse on stage.
This is not about religion, and it ain't no friendly chat;
Get yourself together, girl,
'Cause Cissy taught you better than that!!
