In an interview with Barbara Walters that is set to air tonight, Grey's Anatomy star Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey revealed that he was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was 12 years old. While he credits the disease with making him what he is today, Dempsey says reading his scripts in an effort to memorize his lines remains a constant struggle. Dempsey tells Barbara:

I think that's when I get the most insecure ... it's very hard for me to read it off the page," he says. "I need to memorize it, in order to go on."

Okay, so, what I had originally written about Patrick Dempsey and dyslexia was so horrifically offensive I deleted it. Then I stared at the screen for about ten minutes not believing what I had just deleted. So to make myself feel better, I'd like to take this opportunity to say I hate Paris Hilton and I hope those STDs hurry up and start working already. I mean, she should be living in Calcutta waiting for the nuns to give her a bath by now, right?
