They publicize their charity work for a reason. They're trying to get the rest of the no good layabouts in Hollywood to follow suit. To some extent, it's working. We're seeing more celebrities adopt, and more are spreading their wealth around a bit.

Among the many great qualities of Angelina Jolie is the refreshing lack of attention-getting whoredom we generally get from celebrities. It's almost as if she really wishes that all her fame and the adulation she gets for her wholesome natural beauty would go away. Unlike other movie stars, she doesn't make false and empty pleas for privacy, and then call the paparazzi to capture staged "happy family" photos to be disseminated for public consumption. She is completely consistent and believable and surely longs for a normal life where she can be left alone and no one will pay any attention to her. We should all be so secure as to not need fame to prop up our egos.
Angelina, my hat goes off to you for your sincere desire to raise your children out of the limelight so that they can be spared the trauma of being stalked by the paparazzi. You are truly better than the paeons that have the sheer audacity to question the motives behind your quietly heroic humanitarian work.

She invited some cameras because she's trying to promote the causes. If you read the articles attached to the pictures and watch the interviews she gives, she BARELY talks about anything personal at all. No movies, no Brad, not even Maddox, Zahara, or baby on the way. She's been talking about the need for education to be available to children all over the world.
