Natalie Portman isn't a Whore

We Americans love our cars and violent porn, so it's no shock that America imports more than one quarter of all Japanese exports. Those Japanese are paid, so imagine my surprise when this Japanese shampoo commercial starring Natalie Portman showed up online about a week after she compared actresses to whores. In a recent interview with Britain's Independent newspaper, during promotion for V for Vendetta, Portman said she doesn't want to work for money because "then you are no different than a prostitute." Apparently, doing a commercial in Japan if you're a self righteous actress is like giving out a handjob under the bleachers if you're a virgin. This may sound ~~sexy~~ sexist, but if you're a woman, bukkake isn't something you do strictly for the artistic and collaborative experience.

Those ads are a few years old, which would explain the amazing supermodel hair. keira knightley also did Lux ads. Funnily enough, I remember NPortman doing fashion ads with Isaac Mizahri in the 90s for his Isaac line.

Everytime I think I'm about to jump on the Natalie Portman bandwagon, she sort of ruins it by being a completely humorless, self righteous 'craft' actor. She's like the tiny brunette mini me of Gwyneth Paltrow, another famously pretentious preachy actress.

Hypocrite is right:

claimed she was near quitting acting what 6 years ago because of the superficiality. 10 films later...

claimed she would never exploit her "assets" on film. Then did full frontal scenes, (among other sexy movie scenes)...then acted like some kind of saint cuz she asked for them to be cut.

OK THAT IS NOT HER TALKING, SHE STOLE THAT QUOTE FROM HER BOYFRIEND, MEXICAN ACTOR, GAEL GARCIA BERNAL, WHO IS REALLY A GREAT ACTOR AND TRULY BELIEVES THAT. As for Ms. Portman, I have nothing to say about her. Seriously. She may not be particularly congruent with her statements and her actions, but she's a far cry from Sharon Stone. Or Paris Hilton. Or Pamela Anderson (who was dumb enough to show up to the Juno awards higher than a kite and told everyone Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas were Canadian).

When she was on the cover of Allure magazine a few years back, her pretentious gigantic cranium actually compared her struggle as a Hollywood actress to African-American slaves. NO LIE she said that she could totally relate to what they went through after reading W.E.B. Dubois's "Souls of Black Folks". I wanted her dead from that point on. No JAP from Long Island should ever compare themselves to an African-American slave EVER. Someone should beat her ass for that.
