You can dye your hair when pregnant in the second or third trimester, its much safer, and the number one reason women are told not to dye their hair while pregnant is because of the smell of the hair dye, it never bothered me and my kids each have only one head. Just for the record, my color specialist kept her hair dyed through her pregnancy and encouraged me to do so as well (after the first tri-mester). She said that it is completely safe and most women are just turned off by the odor of the color. My two children are perfectly fine and I dyed and streaked my hair with both of them. But I do agree she's come off looking like a crap ass mom. But, if she would stay home a little and use a baby-sitter, maybe she wouldn't be the target that she has become. At this point, no one would say anyhting about her using a baby-sitter; in fact it could be the safest thing for the baby!

If she wants to project the image, "I'm a good mom" she shouldn't be dyeing her hair while pregnant, conflicting reports or no. It's still generally accepted that coloring your hair while pregnant is "risky" and if you're already under the lamps for being a shoddy mom, you shouldn't exacerbate the situation.

You can dye your hair when pregnant in the second or third trimester, its much safer, and the number one reason women are told not to dye their hair while pregnant is because of the smell of the hair dye, it never bothered me and my kids each have only one head. What no one is commenting on is how the woman has what appears to be apple juice in the babies bottle. Hellllooooo....I would be more concerned about the babies teeth than the new babies possible mutations due to hair dye.

The solution for Britney is to simply move on with her life. Divorce F-Fed, get out of Beverly Hills, and maybe move back to Louisiana. Raise her kids, invest her money wisely, become a patron to her birth state's arts and cultural scene (i.e. establishing music academy programs for Louisiana kids). Allow herself to grow and mature.

I had two different OBGYNs for both of my pregnancies and read 6 different pregnancy manuals. Every single book and doctor said there is absolutely NO evidence that dying your hair during pregnancy can harm the fetus. NONE.

Just for the record, my color specialist kept her hair dyed through her pregnancy and encouraged me to do so as well (after the first tri-mester). She said that it is completely safe and most women are just turned off by the odor of the color. My two children are perfectly fine and I dyed and streaked my hair with both of them.
But I do agree she's come off looking like a crap ass mom. But, if she would stay home a little and use a baby-sitter, maybe she wouldn't be the target that she has become. At this point, no one would say anyhting about her using a baby-sitter; in fact it could be the safest thing for the baby!

Black hair can be beautiful but it doesn't necessarily mean goth. Coming from a sicilian family, I think it can be incredibly gorgeous. But it just doesn't look right on Britney.
