I've said many a terrible things while drunk. Everything I say is always either true, what i personally believe or what I believe to be true. But it was all things I would never say out loud sober. I've never made any racist or anti-semitic comments because I don't think those kind of thoughts.
Of course he's a racist anti-semite. He got drunk and didn't have his sober filter on and unfortunately for him he said those comments in a very public way instead of in the quiet privacy of his home.
Give this guy a break some of you say? Are you kidding? Yes I understand what it is like to regret what you say while drunk but how many of us have actually said something that terrible?
Mel Gibson will always be a great actor and people will see his movies for that reason. However, I'd still call him a jackass in public instead of asking for his autograph. Hopefully other people would do that too and then he'll get what he deserves.

Driving with a .12 BAC is not the same as running a red light. Have you ever been at a .12? Most people can't even walk, much less drive a car. And Pacific Coast Highway, where he was, is one of the most beautiful drives in Cali. It goes along the ocean on a cliff with only a tiny metal barrier on the side. It is also crazily twisty. Sober people crash all the time on it. He was lucky that he didn't kill anyone.
Of course, don't get me wrong, his comments are halarious. And I demand to see a picture of sugartits. Who knows, maybe she really does have sugartits. And maybe he and the officer were having a deep philosphical discussion about the history of violence in the middle east.

I think the Reason this was blown up in the Media more than Paris Hilton saying "Nigger" is because She didn't just get done Producing Birth of a Nation and defending her lack of Anti Black Feelings in dozens of magazines. Nor was she locked into a Deal with ABC at the time to Produce a movie on Slavery in Early America.
