As I said above, alot of white people do not want TO BE black, they like to just borrow black features via plastic surgery. But they dont want to be white either-thus the constant nose jobs, and breast implant, bleaching hair blond to the point that it looks like cotton, blue contact ( ala Herpes Hilton) and tanning to the point of skin cancer. ( make up your minds--do you want to be Nordic woman or the multiracial ( ie; black looking)woman. I personally don't think anyone wants to be of another race by getting plastic surgery to enhance their features. I think each person wants what they personally lack. For example, if someone has small lips, they will always notice people who have a great pout such as Angelina. It becomes one's complex. So they go and get lip injections. Not because they want to be black. Because it makes them feel better about themselves. Halle got a nose job. Is it because she wants to be white?? I don't think so. I am a eastern European female with very light eyes, a rather curvy body, olive skin, dark very curly hair. I often get mistaken for latin or mixed with black. Why? I guess it's hard for some to comprehend that not all people of a certain race look the same. I always get questioned what my background is and I make people guess. Out of a 100, I might get 1 or 2 answers right. That's because of the stereotype embedded in people's head and the ignorance of some. I personally don't think anyone wants to be of another race by getting plastic surgery to enhance their features. I think each person wants what they personally lack. For example, if someone has small lips, they will always notice people who have a great pout such as Angelina. It becomes one's complex. So they go and get lip injections. Not because they want to be black. Because it makes them feel better about themselves. Halle got a nose job. Is it because she wants to be white?? I don't think so. Beyonce wears blonde wigs day in and day out. Is it because she wishes she was white?? I wouldn't bet my money on it. It's because it's the one thing they desired but weren't naturally blessed with. A Portuguese friend of mine recently got a boob job because she was always small and thought it would boost her confidence. It sure did.
I also have a friend who is a Black muslim Arab from Sudan. She has no booty, has dark complexion, small soft features and looong, sooooooft , curly hair. I have yet to meet a black person who considered her black although if you think about it, she's more black then any of them coming straight from the motherland Africa. With respect to Halle Berry being 40, I don't think that her age has anything to do with whether she has a nice body. It's either sexy or it's not. This place is overrun with ignorance. Black/African ppl are the least hairy people and also have the least occurences of skin disease, (acne, rosecea, premature aging etc). Look it up. These arguements are ridiculous. I usually just sort of lurk now and then on the comments because sometimes they can be really hilarious. However, I have never read anything this wierd before in the comments on a celebrity blog.
Why all the hate? And the stereotypes? Not all white women inject collagen into their lips and get fake butts made... nor do all of them get fake tans. Just like not all women of color dye their hair blonde or get blue contact lenses. And the people who do do this are just expressing themselves. Period. One of my black friends has no butt whatsoever, and another one of my black/latin mixed friends has one like me. We have ones like Jessica Biel's (though smaller) still the same shape. Every 'desirable' woman of colour in the media eg. Beyonce, Halle Berry etc all have white features eg. light hair, light skin, light eyes, the same way as all white women in the media now have pouty lips, tanned skin, big boobs and asses.

I am a eastern European female with very light eyes, a rather curvy body, olive skin, dark very curly hair. I often get mistaken for latin or mixed with black. Why? I guess it's hard for some to comprehend that not all people of a certain race look the same. I always get questioned what my background is and I make people guess. Out of a 100, I might get 1 or 2 answers right. That's because of the stereotype embedded in people's head and the ignorance of some. I personally don't think anyone wants to be of another race by getting plastic surgery to enhance their features. I think each person wants what they personally lack. For example, if someone has small lips, they will always notice people who have a great pout such as Angelina. It becomes one's complex. So they go and get lip injections. Not because they want to be black. Because it makes them feel better about themselves. Halle got a nose job. Is it because she wants to be white?? I don't think so. Beyonce wears blonde wigs day in and day out. Is it because she wishes she was white?? I wouldn't bet my money on it. It's because it's the one thing they desired but weren't naturally blessed with.
A Portuguese friend of mine recently got a boob job because she was always small and thought it would boost her confidence. It sure did.
I also have a friend who is a Black muslim Arab from Sudan. She has no booty, has dark complexion, small soft features and looong, sooooooft , curly hair. I have yet to meet a black person who considered her black although if you think about it, she's more black then any of them coming straight from the motherland Africa.
