1. Judaism can describe both ethnicity and/or religion. You are Jewish if you or your ancestors were born in Jerusalem, and/or if you practice the Jewish faith.
Not that any of you care but genocide is not just the extermination of a race. If one were to look up the genocide convention of 1948 (yes go ahead and google it, this would actually be an important thing to learn about), genocide includes "any act to destory, in whole or part, a national ethnical, racial, or RELIGIOUS group" (emphasis added). So if you are trying to use the defintion of genocide to prove that being Jewish is inclusive of ethinicity than your argument would be considered a reductive fallacy. And I also suppose that the Nazis were actually trying to destroy the Jewish religion not ethnicity seing as he did not discriminate between German Jews and Eastern European Jews, whom originate from different ethnicities.
Also, as for the term Caucasian, this is a misnomer, because most people who call themselves caucasian are not from the Caucasus mountain region. Anthropologically speaking, caucasian is not even a technical term.
As for the comment, that "'Jewish' is no more a race than 'Black' is a religion," who are you to decide what is considered a "race" and what is not ? Again, anthropologically speaking, race is no longer a technical term. However, as much as science has proven that there is no genetic race, the terminology will continue to linger as long as humans find it a useful tool to divide and conquer groups of people seen different from said "in group."
