^Well, for one I don't think I know more than the film experts. But if you think people are nominated based strictly on talent, then you're naive. Many times people don't get nominated for roles they were great in. Take Djimon Hounsou for example. He was amazing in Blood Diamond, yet he didn't get a nom. Uh, what?
