James Brown's Lawyer is Busy

  • Don't think they were living together. Bitch ran to the house to cash in obviously.

    Oh well.

  • Damn, this is beyond cold hearted!!! If the woman lived with him for that long and had his son shouldn't she at least be allowed in the freaken house? You'd think a man as wealthy as James would have a will??

    By Lexie, on 10:42 AM

  • Oh and if he had other kids, it is not her house unless he specifically left it to her and her only. If there is no will, it is the estates.

BTW, wonder if it is a nice house.

  • Hynie.

    ::snort::

  • Hate the name "Lacy." It's like Destiny and all those other white trash names. But Hynie????? Wtf?

  • Super Bad!

  • Wow. Kudos to James, hiring a Jew laywer. Very shrewd way to get back at your bitchy wife from the grave.

  • Ok, didn't Lacy Chabert quit doing Meg's voice on "Family Guy" because she didn't agree with some of the "adult content" in the show?

And now she's flashing her goods. Next stop...soft core porn.

    By jeditemple, on 12:14 PM

  • "Hynie" isn't so bad when you consider that it was almost Hynie-Brown.

    By Anonymous, on 12:16 PM

  • Buddy Dallas is a "Jew" name? Merry Christmas.

    By Anonymous, on 12:19 PM

  • Rae Brown-Hynie. Holy shit. I'm locked out. Good God. Ah

And Lacy. Lacy, Lacy, Lacy. Sooo Hottt. Want to touch the hynie.

    Airbrusht or nay, still adorable.

  • Why the hell wasn't her ass with her "husband" when he died?!! Something was brewing between them before he died and she was banking on the fact that he died to soon to officially do anything about it. I agree, she ran home as fast as she could to get all she wanted before his other children could get what is rightfully theirs.

    By Anonymous, on 12:28 PM

  • I still think Lacey Chabert looks like that Pete guy from Fall Out Boy. Sure it's not him?

    By Anonymous, on 1:44 PM

  • Anon 12:28......How the hell do you know she wasn't with him when he died? It doesn't say from where she returned to the house, only that she returned. She could very well have been holding his hand when he passed. I think it will be funny as all get out if she gets everything.

  • The lawyers did what the fuck a good lawyer is supposed to do -- they're looking out for their client's estate and affairs. Period. If she were a GOOD MOTHER and a SMART WOMAN, she would've made sure she had a legal right to the house and any money from the estate by marrying him LEGALLY and having her name placed on the deed and every other piece of paper that shows ownership of his estate. What a dumb, dumb bitch -- nice way to look out for your child's future. Good luck fighting those high-powered attorneys who could give less than a fuck about you or your rugrat!

  • Here are the facts people:
    (AP)
"Ms. Hynie has a home a few blocks away from Mr. Brown's home where she resides periodically when she is not with Mr. Brown," Dallas said. "She is not without housing or home."

Dallas said Brown and Hynie hadn't seen each other for several weeks before his death.

Hynie said Brown had sent her to California for a few weeks to relax on the beach after a recent concert tour.

"I was taking antidepressants," she said. "My job, marriage was difficult. So he sent me to the beach. He paid $24,000 for me to go."

"He was a difficult man to live with, but he was a great man," she said. "I was the only one who could handle James."

FUCK THE CUNT. She's playing the media with her bullshit sob story!

  • That's a beautiful, gorgeous jew.

  • The article further states that they were not living together and that she has a home not too far from James Brown home. It also mentions that she and James B. has not seen or spoken to each other for serveral weeks. His estate has been left in a trust for his children. The big thing is that James never remarried her and if he did not leave anything in the will for her she is just SOL, except for her child, which she can try to sue his estate for monthly child support. She is out for nothing more than the money because like another poster said why was she not at the hospital when he was admitted the day before for pnemonia (excuse spelling)? Sounds like she wanted to get in the house and plant her butt and belongings and then the children would have to prove she was not residing with her and everything would be tied up for years in court. Gold Digger!

  • that chick in the bottom photos looks pretty young. why all the airbrushing? was she in a fire or something?

  • Everybody knows that goys make sucky lawyers. That's because they're stupid.

By Never Again, on 1:08 PM

  • Hmm... first she marries a guy twice her age, then when he dies she's nowhere near him.
Next day, she tries to cash in... skanky asshole.
For once, a lawyer did the right thing.

  • I remember when Lacey was on Party of Five. Yes, it was high school, so this show was "in" at the time. These photos are extremely airbrushed. Wow! I don't think this is her skin color, eye color, shape, hair color. Nothing looks real. One day they're just going to put cartoons on the covers of these magazines. It's to a point where Lacey Chabert doesn't look a thing like the Lacey Chabert in magazines. Yikes...

  • 4:49 do you mean Lacy or James Brown's gold digging widow? Even though it doesn't matter ( it's a religion not a race) Lacy's NOT Jewish

  • I would not define her going to the home the day after he died as "rushing home" to grab what she could take; Atlanta GA is not very far away at all from SC even if she had been at the hospital. I would think it would look much worse if she'd stayed in California where she says she was vacationing instead of coming home.

All of the statements about her living elsewhere, not speaking to Brown, etc come from a LAWYER.
I don't think anyone should 100% believe either side of this story, but the interview I saw with her did contradict things the lawyer said.

If she had a child with him, that child is entitled to his fair share of the estate - I think this is probably just ugliness and jealousy between his other children and his wife. It would be very typical for them to try and keep her and her child from getting anything from the estate.

If she is motivated by greed, I don't think she is the only one; why do you think they rushed to padlock the gate to the house?? Because someone else was in a hurry to keep what they wanted for themselves.

It is a much more normal and natural reaction to go home after a loved one has died than to rush to padlock his house to keep out his partner.
Seems to me like there is a lot of ugliness and greed; and I don't think it is just coming from her.

She does have an awful last name, lol.

    By Anonymous, on 9:41 AM

  • I don't see how her going home the day after he died is "rushing" to the house to take things; Atlanta GA is not really that far from there even if she had been with him at the hospital.

She says she was away in California taking some kind of vacation or whatever; I think it would look much worse if she'd just stayed there instead of coming home. I wonder if anyone even called and told her what was going on; I doubt it considering that they didn't wait very long to run and lock up his house.

I think it is a much more normal reaction to go home after someone has passed away than to rush and lock the place up before the deceased's partner could get there. There is greed involved here for sure, but I don't think it's only her being motivated by it. It seems to me that this is the typical reaction of a rich man's family to his later wife and child. My first reaction if my father or loved one died would not be to start working immediately to ensure that his girlfriend, wife, or whatever couldn't get in the house.

If she had a kid with him that child is entitled to his fair share of the estate, and she is entitled to child support from it. My bet is that the lawyer is trying to downplay any type of relationship they had because the rest of the family wants to try and block her totally out.

  • I'm a Texas lawyer;so, this is the way it should be. Woman marries Man#1 in 2001;but, Woman had married Man#2 several years earlier.Woman later annuls the marriage to Man#2;but,fails to remarry Man#1.
Under Texas Family Code, her marriage to Man#1 is voidable; however, becomes valid after the
annulment to Man#2 takes effect. In other words, it is like she never married Man#2. Under the Domestic Relations Code of South Carolina, same result applies. This is not B.S.; it's the law. So, they need to treat the widow a little better.

  • everybody dissing his wife/girlfriend of ten years are heartless scrooges. everyone know James Brown was violent to his women from time to time - he was arrested for it so that's why she prolly had another home close by- a refuge to escape their rocky relationship. ten years is a long time to try and make that relationship work and she did not deserve to be locked out of his house the day after his death. the lawyers may have legal grounds but their timing makes them and their advisors SCUMBAGS in my opinion.

  • Good Job to Mr.Buddy Dallas. Keep up the good work.

Mr.Dallas wasn't "JUST" James Browns Lawyer, they were really close friends. So one would think that Buddy Dallas is carrying out James last wishes just as he would have wanted.

Oh and BTW, Buddy Dallas is NOT a "JEW" He is a good old country southern Baptist boy.

Much respect to him and his family.
