Anyway, why should anyone speak of her religion now? You all must have forgotten that she was a practitioner of Santeria. Of course, the better question would be the previous one, sans "now". Why is this an issue?
There is a bunch of talk about how the Church should deign her. If anything, we should all clap for her separating from it... Just because she is Puerto Rican doesn't mean she has to hold on to any cultural values (that were never their own to begin with), anyway.
Why should anyone berate her for her divorces? She wouldn't be different from any of a flock of those in the Hollywood circle. It seems that the only difference here is that she was Catholic. But where was the inclusion of religious beliefs when Britney Spears had her worse cases of shotgun weddings? No one seemed to mention that she was Baptist (I think...but it was some denomination of Christianity).
Where does all this hatred for J-Lo come from? It seems unfounded. If you ask me, it's just as much of a trend as some of the celebrities who have been "converted" to Scientology, and just as it was a few years ago to suddenly embrace Kabbalah.
Personally, I like a few of the movies she has starred in. As for her singing...that is a different story. On that note of stories, that would make her no different than any other star who thinks because they have been in one segment of the entertainment industry that they are automatically gurus who are obliged to take part in multiple facets of it. You all must realize that she started off as an actress to begin with. That is no side-job.
She's fake? Why not be fake? She is an actress after all...

Someone asked where the hatred comes from...It stems from these 2 bit HACK jobs like tom cruise, and Jennifer lopez, Isaac hayes..all teaching children today about how our origins are from a Cheesy star trek episode. I kinda wait for the day that we see "Dianetics..The new version" Im sure xenu will have blown up the enterprise in that generation, while ascimilating themselves with the borg faction.
