A lot of people get messed up by drugs, doesn't make them less human. It's not like ANS was a molester, or a violent criminal. She was a just a drug addict, who loved her kids. We all saw that on her show, she was loaded 95% of the time, but she was always sweet to her son, and he said only good things about her. It's sad, that baby has lost her family and she's not even a year old. I see major therapy in her future, even if she is raised by good people.

I don't know...I personally think that she was never the same after her son died. She had him when she was just 17, and she spent a large portion of her life as a single mom...they were a team, and such was evident when he died.
When you lose something like that, you lose part of yourself that never comes back.

If this was a suicide over the paternity of her daughter then this is downright selfish and pathetic. A lot of people get messed up by drugs, doesn't make them less human. It's not like ANS was a molester, or a violent criminal. She was a just a drug addict, who loved her kids. We all saw that on her show, she was loaded 95% of the time, but she was always sweet to her son, and he said only good things about her. It's sad, that baby has lost her family and she's not even a year old. I see major therapy in her future, even if she is raised by good people.

I don't think the lawyer was involved except to the extent that she was planning on killing herself and he did not stop her. A private nurse and a bodyguard in the room sounds like an assisted suicide if you ask me.
I am guessing that her finances weren't exactly stellar. She married the attorney to help tie up what she might be entitled to from the geezer lawsuit, which is still in the air. She certainly doesn't want that money going to the baby's real dad, Larry Birkhead. And I guarantee that she had a nice fat insurance policy with DannieLynn as the beneficiary. Taking the money from her son's pictures at death? SLEAZY. But also a way to help provide for her daughter--anything to keep her from being the trailer trash that mom grew up as.
It's probably the best, and least selfish thing she was capable of doing. She obviously was not capable of cleaning herself up, so it's better that she's not around to raise a Lindsay Lohan who is in rehab at age 20, or dead, like her own son, from an overdose.

Bullshit on the detox. I had pneumonia three times (yes, three times, hospitalized once) last year and my doc wanted to have a VON (private nurse) come and check me out on a bi-weekly basis to see if I was still alive. I said no only because if I croaked my kids would've been at the neighbour's house in an instant asking if they had any candy.
Pneumonia's a bitch. And she may have been addicted to painkillers or whatever but the whole private nurse thing is totally plausible without bringing in the drug addict bit because apparently (see how I'm covering my ass here?) she had pneumonia in November.

Come on, the reality is she lived a hard life, was irresponsible and her hard living caught up with her. That's the life she chose. The only thing that's unfortunate in this is that the little girl *might* suffer, but let's hope and pray she turns out okay and isn't saturated with images and stories of the horrible reality that her mother was a slutty, greedy cow.

Everything's blacked out for tonight. Like Jenny says, it'll be a week or so before they know what the autopsy results will be. Longer for toxological tests if need be.

Please tell me this doesn't surprise ANYONE. First her son dies mysteriously of an OD, and people predict that in less than a year, Anna Nicole will also die mysteriously. And oh look, it happened.
I hope they're going to do some serious investigating of Stern the Slime. Yeah, it's possible for such a thing to happen without foul play, but keep in mind that killers also rarely change their MO, and expect people not to notice -- I bet Stern is flushing his methadone down the toilet right now.
He probably had her make out a will in the last week, leaving all her money to either him or Dannilynn. Now he'll go on the grief wagon, making a big deal about her for more money. Probably also sell every item she touched or ownede, too.
Poor baby, thought. She's in a white trash soap opera, and she can't even walk yet. I hiope she gets sent to someone like Birkhead's mother, so she can be raised by someone halfway normal. I just hope her mom has been forgotten by then, so the poor child won't know about all this.

I don't know...I personally think that she was never the same after her son died. She had him when she was just 17, and she spent a large portion of her life as a single mom...they were a team, and such was evident when he died.
When you lose something like that, you lose part of yourself that never comes back.
I think that it was a broken heart, and we all know that the only medication for a broken heart is drug and alcohol abuse.
I also think that everyone should be mourned when they die, no matter how much of a "greedy cow" you think they are. She never did anything to hurt anyone directly...like that old guy she married didn't have enough money to go around to his children, her and the entire population of a small African country.
I think being Greedy as many have said is one of the lesser sins that others have committed. Its easy to judge celebrities because they're so far from us, and especially with the internet we can talk trash about anyone, but honestly...she never killed anyone (and those who argue that she killed her husband...come on, the man was a thousand years old!) she never molested children....
I'm not a fan of her conduct, but I can still manage to have some respect for the dead.

That is sad, I wasn't that fond of Anna Nicole but she didn't deserve to die. Not while people like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are still living...And the saddest part is the baby she left behind. The poor thing must be crying for her and wondering where "mommy" is. That is tragic, especially because a young baby needs it's mother...
I hope her baby will be raised well and well taken care of, and as for the rest of her family I hope they get through this.

You have motive ($$$$$$$$) and method (drugs in Stern's name in both Anna Nicole and Daniel's deaths,) and two bodies, prosecutions have been made with a great deal less. Stern needs to be arrested, charged and tried for at the very least complicity in the wrongful deaths of both Daniel and his mother, Anna Nicole. Instead, they'll allow him to play lawyer games with it. Just as he has with the paternity issue thus far. This guys the worst kind of slime... He's slime with a license aka a lawyer aka a shyster.
