There's A LOT wrong with bottle feeding. Breastfeeding has been proven as healthier for the mother AND the baby. You should try to breastfeed for at least the first year of the child's life unless there's a medical reason why you can't/shouldn't.

Well, I'm not a fan at all but I agree w/the other posters who attribute this madness to post-partum depression. Her eyes look totally blank in those pictures and while I've never had young'uns and haven't experienced ppd I DO suffer from plain ol' depression and I know it CAN make you do some crazy stuff. So if it is ppd, add to that her relative youth and the hoopla that's surrounded her for the past 10 or so years and you got a sure-fire recipe for total meltdown. I don't think this is a "look at me" tactic at all, I think it's just sheer desperation.
