There are lots of black women with light skin and light eyes. Just like there are lots of white people that are very light (pale), medium and tanned skin tones with different shades of hair and not all have tiny little lips. There are PLENTY of Black people that have long hair and light eyes NATURALLY. "You people" kill me with that Black people are only dark skinned with short hair talk. We have all shades and hair textures. The exact shades of skin you all spray your bodies orange trying to achieve! Hilarity! Yea I dont get the Tyra doesn't look black when Black people come in all different shades and different facial features. Its so odd how another race will tell us what is black and what is white. There are lots of black women with light skin and light eyes. Just like there are lots of white people that are very light (pale), medium and tanned skin tones with different shades of hair and not all have tiny little lips. Some have naturally full lips just like some black girls have naturally smaller features. I dont really label her features as "white" since black people are diverse. I can see how people would say she has white hair glued to her head (especially since its often times red and blonde) but the rest of her looks black. Even when she was thin, she had hips and a butt like a black girl but then again not all black girls have big butts but the majority of them do. I am a black woman and my personal opinion though is that Tyra Banks did not open any doors whatsoever for me and not nessacarily for black women in the entertainment industry either since there were a handful of black supermodels before her.

I dont think she should use her posing on a cover as a reference to black history month when there is far greater representations to acknowledge but hey its her show and i guess she can talk about herself all she wants.
