Britney Checks Out of Rehab Again, Again, Again

In a statement released late yesterday by Jive Records, Britney Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, has confirmed that Spears has checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility after "successfully completing their program" that she began on February 22nd. Rudolph says:

We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

Uh, no. Because really, who are you kidding? Just give her a week. Britney won't disappoint. She's an attention-starved, self-destructive, codependent mess. Staying 27 days out of a possible 45 days isn't going to change that. By this time next year, instead of walking on stage with her Grammy, she'll be walking in a park with her shopping cart. I don't know which demon actually talks to Britney, but if he could get this thing moving along, I'd appreciate it.

As someone who's done a fair amount of time in 12 step groups, I think you are confused about what "codependent" means. You probably mean cross-addicted, which she might be. Drug-addled, whacked out, or just plain nuts would work also.

Why are her people saying she "completed the programme" even though it's a 40 day program . . . oh wait, she pays the to lie for her, that's why.

I guess since SHE has conditioned us to disbelieve everything 'her people' tell us (through her own behaviour), I suppose the treatment wasn't "successful" in the least. That craving for McDonalds, gack and perhaps airing out her cooter were just far to great.

11:13, to add to the other responses on co-dependency, I think what the person was refering to was her co-dependency on others for affection. In rehab she found a new boyfriend . . . a real supportive and affectionate man, who I'm sure will stand by her for the next 60 year she's around on this earth (or 6 months at her current rate/lifestyle).

I agree that she won't disappoint. She'll be out shaving her kids' heads or driving her car through a playground or some other whacked out craziness in no time.
