Songs about chains, 'grills', and 'laffy taffy' are real musical gems, eh?

I'm not totally anti-rap. Afterall, I still regularly listen to Outkast's Stankonia album as well as the last two K-Os albums. Then again, Outkast and K-Os are hard to put into the stagnant genre called 'rap'.

12:25, aside rom Outkast, the only rapper I can think of who has creativity is Busdriver. He sings in different styles like blues, electropop and funky hip-hop, refuses to be put in a social box, and gets a bit silly. No bling, hos and shootings.

And he makes fun of "rapping know-it-alls trying to de-politicize those big business ties." The rest of them are just a bunch of wannabe toughs with marginal talent at best.
