How does this look funny? It was "kind" of cute when it was Conny and Carla, but hasn't really been funny any other time. And I'm not sure I get this premise. . . to keep some pension, they have to get "married" which isn't allowed in most states.
Not to mention, the chubby guy wouldn't pass any of the fireman's fitness tests.
There are a couple firemen on the show Rescue Me who don't exactly look too fit but that's never been a problem for me to get past and that's a more serious storyline. This plot is just a vehicle for the comedy.
