Penelope Cruz is Crazy, Too

29 Comments:

  • Todd! One word for you: "Proofreading". Trying to read your stuff of late is like listening to Ms. Cruz speak without trying to order rice and beans with my combo plate. Yeah! I know she's Spanish, not Mexican, but still... you get my point. And this chick? Annoying!

    By Anonymous, on 10:35 AM

  • 10:35am - Thanks for the one word of encouragement, but no dude, I really don't get your point. Maybe we can work through our problems together.

    By Todd, on 10:46 AM

  • God 10:35, STFU. I hate when people come on here trying to be funny. Todd and Jenny are funny. That's why they have a successful blog. You, on the other hand, are a fucking tool. And you don't make sense. The rice and beans comment was completely retarded.

    By Anonymous, on 11:14 AM

  • This is exactly why I started my own religion, Sexwithmeology. I am in the process of recruiting beautiful celebrities as we speak. I just wish that damn Tom Cruise would stop trying to join.

    By Anonymous, on 11:29 AM

  • 11:14 AM HAHAHAHA. Awesome.

I only wish I understood the lure of Scientology. Celebrities are fucking retarded if they think L. Ron Hubbard started all of this to save them and not to make money.

    Just don't get it.

    By K, on 11:43 AM

  • sorry, i will never accept any religion where the main dude's name was "ron".

    By Anonymous, on 11:49 AM

  • Anon 10:35 lisped: Todd! One word for you: "Proofreading".

Actually, you should have the period inside the quotes 10:35. So, maybe YOU should be the one proofreading your shit.

11:14 hit the nail on the head. You are a tool, 10:35.

By Proofreader Peter, on 11:59 AM

  • i always assumed Salma was on top, not Penelope.

    By Anonymous, on 12:42 PM

  • I seriously doubt this is true - "Pe", as we call her in Spain, is a very intelligent woman, way too smart to be getting involved in this stupid cult. Oh, and to the person who made the comment about the bean and rice combo - where do you get off being such a racist cunt? Penelope happens to be fluent in Spanish, French and Italian... her English could be better, but how many languages do YOU speak? Probably only English, right? So STFU with your racism, you ignorant tool!

  • I believe all religion have far out stories or "fables". I don't see the harm in Scientology. The followers are not harming anyone. On the hard, I was brought up as a Christian and I had my doubts about all those stories they fed me in church. If I voiced a questions, it was seen as blasphemy. Now, some Christian groups bomb abortion clinics in the name of their lord and savior.

  • stella,

    scientology is anything but harmless...

    you should visit these sites:
    www.xenu.net
    www.xenutv.com
    www.scientology-kills.org
    www.holysmoke.org
    www.scientology-lies.com
    www.whyaretheydead.net

everyone should know the harms of the cult of scientology... inform yourself and inform your friends...

the more people who know, the more likely we'll be able to save the victims of this brainwashing, and prevent others from such.

  • 5:08, and if you think that a few radicals are representative of ANY religious group, then you're even dumber than we thought. Funny how people like Mother Teresa slip people's minds when they hate a religion.

Yet I bet you defend Islam because obviously suicide bombers aren't representatie of their population, huh?

Oh, and I don't call brainwashing and murder "harmless." Don't defend something until you've fucking researched it. I have, and I hate Scientology more than ever -- all the more so because it's a PART of their religion.

Besides, if you equate ancient cultural religions and traditions that endure throughout the centuries.... to a 1970s tax dodge by a mentally unstable SF hack, then you are PHENOMENALLY stupid.

    By Anonymous, on 6:17 PM

  • It's kind of funny how people can insult Scientology as a cult when it's just as moronic as people who go to church. You can make fun of someone else religion/beliefs but never look at your own with outside eyes. The only difference between Scientology and Christianity is the time difference.

    By Burk, on 6:45 PM

  • I wish some scientologist dude the best of luck as he tells Cruz that through the Power of Xenu, his magic penis will cure her ailing career. A BJ for an Emmy... the nasty however will bring all of the forces of the universe into alignment to render an Oscar hers for the taking....

    By Anonymous, on 6:49 PM

  • I love that pic of Xenu!... He loves Cobra!... That crap tastes damn good! Penlope has the tools now, I hope she's happy! Now... she'll be getting 0rlando Bloom on the path to clear! I'm so happy for him...too... Those pesky theatens need to be removed and sent to Tom Cruise house!... There inside Suri/Alex Cruise.... Suri look like a man baby! Or a baby/man!

By Sooka Oats, on 7:29 PM

  • 6:45, damn but you're stupid. You obviously A) are biased to the point where your opinions cannot be trusted, and B) are completely ignorant about both religions.

It's especially funny that you claim the religious consider themselves off limits, when I bet if I mocked your political affiliationsl, you'd freak out and shriek insults at me. (Don't deny it -- the people who get snide at religion are always as hypocritical as the most obnoxious churchgoers)

As for people loooking at other religions, here's a face: all REAL religions, meaning ones started as something OTHER than a scam, have a system of morality. Punishable sins, karma, whatever -- they tell you not to do stuff like murder, rape, etc.

But for Scientologists, it's perfectly okay. So long as it doesn't affect the cash flow or bring them bad PR, they don't care what you do. You could be a raping baby-murdering cannibal and they wouldn't give a damn IF YOU KEPT PAYING THEM.

Also questions include: did the founder of said religion become rich off it? Is it being judged by its actual tenets rather than the WORST people who claim to be part of it?

Get a brain and perspective before you reply again, okay? You don't know how to think objectively.

    By Anonymous, on 7:31 PM

  • Wow we might be underestemating Cruise's charm after all :))

    By Anonymous, on 7:54 PM

  • All religions are capable of being cults, and can be considered dangerous in ignorant hands.
And 7:13, your pontificating is atrocious, completely arrogant, not to mention cruel toward someone who is merely expressing their own opinion.
    Why take it so personally?
What makes you think Scientology doesn't teach a level of morality? How do you know? Did you study it? I do not buy into it, and I think all those who buy into any religion as a matter of fact and blatantly put down others (including if they are more recent and obviously fruity) are seeking one-dimensional answers, where none exist.
Scientology is like a parody of religion to me, in my humble opinion.

    By Anonymous, on 8:05 PM

  • somebody light a match. a lot of gas has built up here.

    By Anonymous, on 9:41 PM

  • 8:05, you mean 7:31, right?

For me, Christianity is pretty much as believable as Scientology. Sorry, but that's MY opinion. Don't try to bite my head off now.

    By Anonymous, on 10:12 PM

  • I say, good for her. If she finds happiness through scientology, then, go for it girl!
As long as she is not hurting anyone and she is wasting her own money, why should I want to stop her?
I may not like her as an actress or as a woman, but at least she has enough brains to have more money than most of us here.

    By Ef, on 5:35 AM

  • To all of you atheist/agnostic secular humanists who love to slag off religion:

at least in Christianity, they give you their message for free. You can hear the whole damned thing FOR FREE. They'll give you their book FOR FREE.

In Scientology, you have to PAY to "move up the ladder" of knowledge. you have to PAY to take their "courses" [religion is a "course"?]. you have to be FAMOUS and RICH to enjoy the perks of the SCIENTOLOGY CELEBRITY CENTRE.

Even if both systems are "bunk", at least one of them is FREE, and the other is a SCAM TO GET MY MONEY.

    By Anonymous, on 9:09 AM

  • Urgh, I hope she's not a Scientologist. Perhaps Orlando can get her into Buddhism? When will they finally make their relationship public?

    By Anonymous, on 9:21 AM

  • Yet..another proof that celebs earns too much money..when they use it on this crap:P

    By Anonymous, on 10:07 AM

  • Well, Catholics believe there are three white, shiny, flying dragons somewhere. Some other Christians believe it's only one. Muslims think their dragon is furry and of indefinite color. Fanaticals in general think their dragons will automatically spit fire onto their enemies, but no onto them.

Scientologists believe their dragons are golden with purple spots and a smile the size of Oklahoma. It just seems too crazy because it's so obviously commerce, not religion, and too recent. And the guy was a bad sci-fi writer.

But in the end it's all about dragons and bad sci-fi writers anyway...

    By Anonymous, on 10:22 AM

  • Scientology bashing is amazingly trendy even after all these years and bad jokes. And to think the main proponents behind the craze were the same evangelical christian fundamentalists who will go to their grave believing in creationism.

Who is more crazy, Tom Cruise/Penelope Cruz, or James Dobson?

    By J, on 2:46 PM

  • J:

    You are confusing the issue.

James Dobson is intelligent, single-minded, and ruthless.

Tom Cruise is nuttier than a fruit bat.

    By Anonymous, on 6:48 AM

  • I am so glad people put on the record how insane the Scientology can be. They spend mucho bucks to come after any one doing research in psychiatry. They go after medical doctors who are trying to develop treatments to cure recurrent depression, SAD, anxiety disorders and any other data they can get their hands on. We had to hire people to try to find the archives of hand written study forms that identify the individuals in research studies.

Hey right on for your comments.. and you have an ass kicking blog.

    Thanks for sharing.
