I got annoyed about scientology one day after reading about some bullshit some scientologist did and decided to research it. Stauffenberg failed to assassinate Hitler because their meeting was placed earlier then expected. Stauffenberg was only able to arm one of the two bombs in the briefcase which was made difficult by the fact that he had three fingers on his left hand, no right hand and one eye left. Stauffenberg failed to assassinate Hitler because their meeting was placed earlier then expected. Stauffenberg was only able to arm one of the two bombs in the briefcase which was made difficult by the fact that he had three fingers on his left hand, no right hand and one eye left. Also, the briefcase was probably moved under the table after Stauffenberg left the room.
I have nothing against insulting short, ugly movie stars like Tom Cruise, but please leave national heros out.

We already have a fantastic Stauffenberg picture starring Sebastian Koch (actor from "Life of the others") - so IMHO there's no need to produce another one. Tom Cruise would NOT be the perfect cast for this impressive historic person. Sure, 4 people were killed by the attempt. But calling him a mass murderer is a bit over the top. Von Stauffenberg is a coward. He didn't even have the courage to ensure the assassination was completed. He ran out of the room and flew back to Berlin while his comrades-in-arms were snuffed out.
