There's one easy way to prove who's right in the "Britney" vs "Avril" ring (which will never happen)...
Put them both on stage to sing either acapella (alone and with no instruments) or with an instrument they play themselves.
Avril would destroy Britney.
For instance, check out Avril's performance on MadTV, aired just a few weeks (iirc) after Ashley Simpson's lip sync scandal on SNL...

Avril sucks, I'm sorry but i was drinking water when I saw that girlfriend video and just about died. I choked so hard from laughing at her syncronized dance number, complete with "hit the road jack" thumbs! haha!! So much for her "punk" chick image. She's such a loser! Really! She can't be herself, which is why she's the one that's so hostile!

i think that avril lavigne needs to shut her mouth about everyone! i remember when she first came out and she said she would never dye her hair blonde, and she would never be anything like the other pop stars, that lasted how long? oh yeah one album! She can't sing, she's annoying and she pretends she's hard, i'd like to see her and everyone she's dissed go at it in the ring, im sure we'd see how hard avril really was.
