It takes alot of care to keep up naturally african textured hair. I now just straighten it but if I didn't it would be too think and unmanageable. That is why I straighten it and even with it straight, it still resembles a black person's hair thats been relaxed. It never occured to me that anyone see this as trying to be white. People crying racism over stupid stuff like this can be just as bad. Why do black people or other minorities need defending? Aren't you secure enough to deal with some stereotypes, even if they're not funny like you, or Todd? Why can't bad jokes just be bad jokes? I deal with and have a lot of black friends with as opposite backgrounds to me as could be. We joke and talk shit both ways all the time, without issue--nobody cries to momma. I'm so sick and tired of this crybaby shit. Ya'll are speaking from your own insecurities and not any whole "population." Getting all upset about a post like this just perpetuates tension and division whether Todd's a racist or not. What if he just tried to be funny but wasn't?

I think the girl is beautiful but in this pic she does look like a tranny and that Lipstick is horrible but I disagree with people saying she's trying to look white. The girl actually tans and puts bronzer on her skin. She's actually a shade or two lighter than what you normally see. Black people come in many different skin tones. Her getting weaves or other black women getting weaves also doesn't mean their trying to be white. I am a black female and wear no extensions but have in the past. It takes alot of care to keep up naturally african textured hair. I now just straighten it but if I didn't it would be too think and unmanageable. That is why I straighten it and even with it straight, it still resembles a black person's hair thats been relaxed. It never occured to me that anyone see this as trying to be white. I also think Todd was trying to be funny but failed miserably this time but I found nothing racist about what he said.
