This doesnt surprise me at all. She was in Alabama doing a concert for US Soldiers. Some of the soldiers won back stage tickets... but she wouldnt let them through without being manhandled by her personal security first. Many of them were so offended they didnt go back stage. They left. This was on a military installation. These men were in uniform.. and many of them were just home from Iraq. She is a stuck up bitch.

I was at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel for a week on business the week of the Idol finale 2 years ago. All of the Idols stay there that week, as the Kodak Theatre where the finale is held is right next door. She was the ONLY one who was rude and stuck up, even to little kids. Saw her in concert once in Houston. She opened for Brad Paisley. I was not impressed. She was a little snotty and wore faded jeans and a HUGELY oversized polo...looked like a night gown...I was thinking "thanks for taking the time to throw something on."

Before the show she was being interviewed by a local radio station out in the open and everyone was standing around watching. It took 4 bodyguards to walk in with her. There were some girls from a soroity that she had pledged to "back in the day", that had been waiting by the interview booth to see her since like 3pm. So, the DJ says...Hey Carrie these girls are from blah blah blah...and have been here since forever...you want to say hi?"
Here I am thinking...ok she will go to the them and hug em say hi whatever, she had a cordless hand held mic and could have done so easily. No this is the response she gave..."uh hi" and then there was a pause...and the DJ was like "Ok......." and just kept on interviewing to which she responded with SHORT answers all the time.
I was thinking "wow way to show that southern hospitality" and if I had been close enough for her to here me I might have said something to that effect.
After the interview she was immediately surronded by the guards and and swooped away and I heard one of the girls say, "What a bitch! She was so rude to us." I guess that night she lost a few fans. Me included.

Saw her in concert once in Houston. She opened for Brad Paisley. I was not impressed. She was a little snotty and wore faded jeans and a HUGELY oversized polo...looked like a night gown...I was thinking "thanks for taking the time to throw something on."
ANYWAY........
Before the show she was being interviewed by a local radio station out in the open and everyone was standing around watching. It took 4 bodyguards to walk in with her. There were some girls from a soroity that she had pledged to "back in the day", that had been waiting by the interview booth to see her since like 3pm. So, the DJ says...Hey Carrie these girls are from blah blah blah...and have been here since forever...you want to say hi?"
Here I am thinking...ok she will go to the them and hug em say hi whatever, she had a cordless hand held mic and could have done so easily. No this is the response she gave..."uh hi" and then there was a pause...and the DJ was like "Ok......." and just kept on interviewing to which she responded with SHORT answers all the time.
I was thinking "wow way to show that southern hospitality" and if I had been close enough for her to here me I might have said something to that effect.
After the interview she was immediately surronded by the guards and and swooped away and I heard one of the girls say, "What a bitch! She was so rude to us." I guess that night she lost a few fans. Me included.

I work in the music industry and sometimes people just cant take no for an anwser - if you read the email it says they are at a convention for sick kids - Carrie underwood is signing stuff for sick kids and doing stuff for which she has chosen to be there for and this lady comes up asking her to do Business - think about hwo you would feel in this sitution before you judge. i have no idea what carrie underwood is like but i have meant very very very many pushy low onthe totetum pole radio people that act EXACTLY like this. And i have seen alot of horrid rock stars in my time as well.

First off--I am sick of people defending Carrie...Everyone has this automatic belief that she is just oh-so sweet because she has a pretty face and comes from Oklahoma..BIG WOOP. Here are the facts: I have heard 19458754 other stories JUST like this (and/or worse) about Carrie...and when I see her being interviewed on tv, she makes me want to puke. I don't say this kind of thing about many people, but she is a snotty little diva with no personality and she needs to pull her head out of her butt. she should be counting her blessings every single day because she waltzed into the country music scene after winning a singing competition and shot to stardom through name recognition--or better, a POPULARITY CONTEST. she does not even come close to qualifying as a real artist-and unlike everyone who busts their ass for years out in Nashville to make it, she didn't pay her dues...so for her to treat another human being like they are below her and for her to believe that she is better than everyone else is completely inexcusable and unacceptable. doesn't matter who you are/how many awards u win/how many records u sell...what goes around, comes around and it'll catch up with her...GET OVER URSELF CARRIE!

I totally believe this. I was at a county fair last summer and she was invited to attend and perform. She was incredibly rude to everyone there and made a point of being as demeaning as possible. You would think that she would appreciate the fans that have supported her and helped her to achieve the success she's been lucky enough to achieve.

I was at this event last year (she wasn't at this years event). I was at Carrie's booth and she had lot's of radio people talking to her. There was a woman a few folks up from me from a radio station (it sounds like it could have been this crazy self-important radio no one) that was rude to Carrie. She tried to take up all her time and kept trying to butt in in front of the person in front of her. She was obnoxious in line talking real loud so everyone would know how important she was being from a radio station and all. By the time she got to Carrie, Carrie was PROBABLY as annoyed by her as everyone else standing there was. YET, she was STILL gracious and spoke to her. These radio people are the arrogant one's. They used to say this same crap about Martina McBride. This is why people hate radio - because they play what THEY want to and ignore listeners even when they are calling in.

First of all I have met Carrie many times,and she is not at all a BITCH!!First of all If you would take a second to think your so called famous people still have bad days!!Have you guys ever thought that she may have been having a bad day??Do you know how many HUNDREDS of radio stations come to that??Think about it!It's not her fault your station 1 out of the 3,000,000 that wanted her on theirs wasn't as pleased with her performance!I highly doubt that anyone filmed her giving massages to the troops!This is the internet half of you ppl prolly don't even have a life anyways!
