I heard a radio interview with Kelly Clarkson in which one of the songs on the new album were played. If that story were true I don't think the song would've been played.
You know, the first time I heard the song, I was disappointed because I thought it wasn't singable, didn't have a hook. But after listening to it a few times, I really like it. It really sticks in my head, in a good way. She has a great voice; she might do better having other people write most of her songs, but she is young, she is learing what works and what doesn't. And why does anyone care if she's put on a few pounds. There have been plenty of great singers who are not skinny. It is about the voice, idiots.
Sure American Idol sucks, but Kelly can sing. I only ever watched AI (and only the first season, never since) when she was on, because I loved hearing her sing live. She can sing better than 90%of the "pop stars" out there.
