Out of curiosity, does anybody know what effect Paris has had (if any) on the Hilton Hotel chain as far as business goes? I can't imagine that anyone with even the slightest knowledge of what a vile person Paris and her family are would knowingly stay there and contribute to their cash flow.

Ignorance of the law does not exculpate one who breaks it, and being too stupid to actually read a document the cops have you sign doesn't mean said document is not binding.
But then again, Paris didn't have the advantages I did...I went to public school.
We all have to realize that if the threats coming from the prision get too harsh, they will not put her there. Prisoner is always a concern, especially when dealing with former cops and celebrities. So if they want her in there, they better keep their mouths shut until she gets there. I realzie this is a sad fact, but it's true. Don't worry you guys, the appeal isn't going to get anywhere. She can't rehash the facts of the case, only argue that the judge made an error. It would have required that he sentenced her to time that wasn't legal for the crime, or something completely out of bounds like that. All the lawyers are saying that she won't get anywhere. And besides that, the Sherriff who runs the jail says that she will NOT get out early due to over crowding. Life is good!

Sentence this cunt to six months of picking up trash on the side of the road (a very public, busy road), scrubbing public restroom toilets, scrubbing floors, etc. Make sure cameras are there when she's elbow-deep in some filthy shitter in a community center. Make her do it for 10 hours a day, for every fucking day for 6 months. We could make sure plenty of people would be around to harrass and humiliate her while she's working and sweating her ass off. That punishment is far better. She's still in a prison of sorts, because she's not free to do what she wants. Plus, the added bonus is we could watch her suffer.

Paris' MySpace has a link to a petition, eh? A petition for her pardon? Hmmm. Methinks that petition could use a good hacking and (ahem) grammatical restructuring.

No. She can't buy a better cell. The judge explicitly said in her sentencing she had to serve her time in that prison. She isn't allowed to buy a cell or better food. The only thing she is allowed is to be kept away from the main population for safety. It's the same crap food, dirty bed, and 23 hours a day of staring at a wall.
I think the real victims during her time will be all the rich a**holes that won't be able to do lines of blow off her crack for 45 days.

Never mind. I found it. Nearly died laughing from reading it. Apparently we don't know the real Paris, she's an American Icon and Mother Teresa all rolled into one! No word yet as to whether or not she shits golden foil-wrapped turds that taste like heaven.
You know what? You can't blame her fans. Have you seen her MySpace page? They're all of the "first grade reading level" variety. You can't expect that mass of stupidity will grow beyond admiring who the television tells them to. Except for that Pauly guy. Way to tell 'em, Pauly!

what DOES really piss me off about all this is that if you or i were stupid enough to do what she did, we would get ZERO protection from the staff and ZERO special treatment. i would love to see her spend that 45 days in gen, but it's not happening, and it annoys the hell out of me.

Looks the only friends and person that can tolerate being next to paris is her mother, everyone of her friends dumped her ass. Where is her new poor boy boyfriend? Dumped her ass too!
