  6. What you saw is pretty much typical of Japanese TV (in that how it is displayed). Japanese TV is like beyond silly, Samurai westerns or some pretty decent international movies. Anyways, the level of enthusiasm exhibited is in tribute to their guest, Johnny Depp.

    By Mr. T, on June 14, 2007 11:11:00

  7. I don't know what that was but those kids were INTO it.

I was tearing up from laughing so hard; he handled it waaay better than I did.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:15:58

  8. He is WAY too kind.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:17:33

  9. johnny's wicked stoned. he has to be.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:21:33

  10. I can't believe a 4 year old could play the theme from Pirates. I don't care how crazy they were, that was freaking amazing!

Johnny looked a little scared lol

    By Ally, on June 14, 2007 11:31:35

  11. what was with hitler child pirate?

and the kid on the keyboard skeeved me out. so i take it they were jap children of the corn.

those kids were some creepy little fucks.

By cpt obvious, on June 14, 2007 11:38:12

  12. hot damn it only took those kids 2 weeks to learn that? wow.
    depp is awesome!

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:41:34

  13. I love, love, love Johnny Depp, but he's just doing what he gets paid to do. He gets paid A LOT of money to sit through shit like this. He could be scrubbing toilets for a living. But yes, all celebrities should be as gracious and cool as Johnny.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:50:21

  14. Wow. I don't think I could have handled that as well as he did. I would have been speechless and afraid.

That was awkward to watch. Johnny gave me strength though.

So he was on their show before? Maybe he knew what to expect then...

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 11:54:52

  15. I'm confused. All I see is Paris hilton's Night out at the club where she said the infamous "Nigger" word. WTF?

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 12:01:25

  16. what a cool guy.

    By stoney, on June 14, 2007 12:04:55

  17. what a cool guy. I heard that these kids are going to be in POC III

    By stoney, on June 14, 2007 12:06:51

  18. The kids were all hyped up because they were performing in front of the famous gay American.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 12:28:23

  19. You would've all done the same thing. To have those precious kids working so hard to entertain you, you would've been flattered...even though it was weird and long.

They are precious and talented. Depps got kids, I'm sure he got it.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 12:29:06

  20. What are you guys talking about??? Johnny wasn't being kind, he was aroused - those girls are very close to the body type he prefers. They were a little hyper because they knew they had a legitimate shot at an invitation back to his hotel room.

    By Moss-Paradis Pedo Foundation, on June 14, 2007 12:34:58

  21. Classy guy, for sure.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 12:45:41

  23. THAT VIDEO WAS AMAZING. Seriously.
What's wrong with you people? Those kids are incredibly talented.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 12:57:36

  24. dead@ gawdzira. i laughed for like 2 minutes after reading that.

why does johnny dress like a bum?? look what hes wearing he's not even matching. plus who the fuck ties there sweater or jacket around their waste any more? this isnt 1995. i stil fail to see how girls find him sexy. he looks dirty.

    By prettyboy, on June 14, 2007 13:00:32

  25. He's too nice. How did he sit through that crap without letting even one tiny little "WTF?" slip out?

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 13:14:20

  26. I love the Japanese, really I do, but their television gives me motion sickness. Such strange people.

    By Dex, on June 14, 2007 13:18:16

  27. I like the little one. Out of CONTROL! I just love how excited they were. It was sweet, and funny. I love how Johnny was being polite and appreciative and then occasionally cracked up laughing. This whole video made my day.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 13:26:33

  28. that was fuckin' hilarious. i love it. he was very gracious & understanding with how they do things. they worked hard so no wonder he was gracious. they have an amazing culture, by the way.

    By kasey, on June 14, 2007 13:35:02

  29. OMG That is so cute. He is so gracious and you can tell that he honestly enjoyed it. :) He is just too cool for words.

  30. that was awesome!

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 13:53:50

  31. 3/4 of the way through, are they spelling out AAAARRRR? That was too cute.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 13:58:57

  32. Johnny Depp is the coolest guy in Hollywood.

My girlfriend says he's also the sexiest.

    :)

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 13:59:55

  33. Naaah. Johnny obviously loves kids and he is too dedicated a parent to use drugs at this point in his life. He was just being a good sport and doing his job.

Imagine the temper tantrum and snotty response if this had been done to say, Carrie Underwood or Paris Hilton. Kids would have been sent home crying.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 14:14:21

  34. Call me crazy, but I loved the kids(and I am usually not one to say that about kids) They were so charmingly energetic!

    By hoxharding, on June 14, 2007 14:19:39

  35. Why does Johnny Depp have an accent?

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 14:32:27

  36. that was fabulous. johnny is so kind.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 14:33:51

  38. that Gawdzira comment made soda come out of my nose. Ow!

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 16:32:11

  39. Okay, I'm completely sober but felt like I was stoned while watching that! Especially when the Hitler Pirate came out and attacked Johnny with the swords. Johnny was probably thinking that the drugs he scored in Japan were awesome.

And I love his question: "Have they been practicing this or was it improvised?" He may be calm and gracious, but that was the snarkiest comment ever!!!

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 17:11:58

  40. i liked it, i thought it was well rehearsed, i'm prety sure tom hanson liked it, it was cute.

    By Eve, on June 14, 2007 17:30:08

  42. ok, but why is Depp speaking with a British accent that fades in and out? Is he taking lessons from Madge?

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 18:12:13

  43. HAHAH That was too funny.
    He really is so patient!

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 19:33:14

  44. Oh my goodness, that was awesome! Johnny Depp is like the sweetest person in the entire world.

    By Jem, on June 14, 2007 19:48:05

  45. MY He did handle Soooo much better than I would have, I woudl have busted my ass laughing... But I think it is the Father in him that kept him from just freaking out really.. I am a mother myself, but i dont know If i am that good of a mother, that i wouldnt pee in front of them

    By Cecilia, on June 14, 2007 21:11:23

  46. I can take or leave many of his movies, but over the years, Johnny Depp has proven himself a class act.

    By anonymous, on June 14, 2007 21:35:59

  47. I can take or leave many of his movies, but over the years, Johnny Depp has proven himself a class act.

  49. Johnny is the man.

And have those cameramen never heard of stability?

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 00:12:31

  50. ....wtf was that?

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 01:03:19

  51. He is truly a down to earth actor. U know any other actor woulda laughed and stared at his agent like "WTF?" Not Johnny, hes awsome.

Another thing, is it just me or do our american kids really suck at performing in school plays?? They are still doing peter pan in highschool while these little speedy six year olds in japan are doing cirque du soleil in kindergarden. DAMN!

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 01:19:16

  52. Depp is unbelievably gracious, all the time. This was bizarre beyond words, but he never flinched.

    By marzi, on June 15, 2007 04:49:14

  53. ok, but why is Depp speaking with a British accent that fades in and out? Is he taking lessons from Madge?

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 06:42:35

  55. Those weren't kids. WTF? I am never going to Japan.

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 10:21:31

  56. watching that is a really good substitute for dropping acid. why are little japanese girls smoking crack?

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 10:31:55

  57. here in europe we love depp.

    By anonymous, on June 15, 2007 21:24:21

  59. I live in Japan and I've never seen that show before, must be on only occasionally or something. That's about as calm as TV gets here, you should see some of the other shows we get. He's been there before, I heard him say to one woman "You I already know", she's his Japanese to English interpreter. Those kids were probably sooooo nervous to play in front of him and it was all for the sake of pure camp and to entertain their honored guest. Too bad many people on this comment board have no sense of humour. If I had been him, I would have reacted the same way. They did their best, those kids were great.

    By anonymous, on June 16, 2007 00:08:42

  60. Three words: He-Larry-Us!

    By anonymous, on June 17, 2007 12:00:03
