Liev is hot and a great actor. He is Tony nominated. I think he might even have won one before. He was great on CSI. He's not exactly chopped liver and there is a lot to be said for being tall. It's hot.
Yeah, as it turns out, he's supposed to be the best Shakesperian actor working today. According to the NY Times, at least. I know nothing about Broadway. Big crush on him in Scream, though.
unfortunately most of his movie roles are pretty minor... but he was great in "the painted veil" (played watts lover ;o) and even in the so-so remake of "the manchurian candidate" .. i even liked his directorial debut "everything is illuminated" - go check it out if you're not only into no-brain blockbuster flicks (hey nothing against these though)
Liev was in A Walk on the Moon and he was really good. It is kind of an independent movie; it starred him, Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn from Lord of the Rings) Anna Paquin and Diane Lane. Its actually a really good movie and Viggo and Diane have lots of hot steamy love scenes. Liev plays Dianes' betrayed hubby.
liev schrieber is not only the most talented actor of his generation, he's a seriously good director too (see 'all things are illuminated'). loved him since 'day trippers', the indie with hope davis and parker posey and stanley tucci and anne meara. oh, and in blockbuster land-- 'the sum of all fears'-- liev made ben affleck look like the dick that he is. worth viewing that movie again to see affleck's humiliation.
