I hope this bitch gets AIDS.

  7. What a sad, sad demonstration of lefal punishment. Sadder still, the amount of young women who idolize Paris and will continue their own lives of irresponsibility.
Certainly California cannnot feel they will ever be taken seriously again - if I shoot my neighbor, can I get out of jail in a week and a half because I have a serious case of the runs?
This is fucking bullshit. Wow. That's all.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 11:21:39

  8. Arent you all just a little bit angry now... arent you... Of course she is going to get preferential treatment, as you would expect any hollywood moron would, that is how it works... Did you expect anything different, I mean come on. You people that are angry about it are making yourselves be angry for absolutely nothing, we normal people will never get a fair shake at anything, that is the way it is and always will be...

  9. WHY IS EVERYONE SO SURPRISED, SHE IS RICH, HER PARENTS ARE RICH, YOU ALL KNOW THE BRIBED AND PAID OFF EVERY OFFICIAL THEY COULD TO GET HER RELEASE, SHE WAS NEVER GOING TO SERVE ANY REAL TIME, RICH PEOPLE ARE ABOVE THE LAWS. IF IT WAS ANY OF US WE WOULD OF GOT THE FULL 45 DAYS PLUS. FACE THE FACTS, YOU WANT HER TO BE PUNISHED, THEN SOMEONE NEEDS TO GO PUT HER DOWN FOR GOOD.

Fortunately when they try to send me to jail, I can reveal that Hilary Duff's ex-boyfriend knocked me up. Ugh, how embarrassing.

"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."

  13. Let me get this straight. She is upset and "can't handle" jail, so she gets out.

Seriously, you guys in CA need to start writing letters. This is DISGUSTING.

  24. WTF???

I'm on the verge of having a nervous break down before/after every exam i take. Does that mean i should be excused from testing and automatically get an A? This is just fucking ridiculous. Everyone who goes to jail or prison is on the verge of having a nervous breakdown because it takes a while to adjust. after a week or two you adjust. It takes us all a while to adjust to a new setting or having less to do or more to do. This is just retarded.

    By prettyboy, on June 7, 2007 12:22:57

  25. She didn't belong in jail anyway. Some judge tried to grandstand, and now the whole system looks foolish. Just stick with the fine - suspended sentence - probation - community service gig that everybody else gets. It's less than any of these petty offenders deserve, but if THE PEOPLE support laws like "3 strikes" and "Zero Tolerance" then we don't have anywhere close to enough jail cells. Cry all you want about the judge and jail, but they're just playing the hand dealt to them by registered voters.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 12:25:25

  26. hmmmm...what to do for 40 days in my mansion?

    Parties! Sex! Alcohol! Drugs! Whoohoo!

  37. I hate the media for covering this as a breaking headline story above the G8 conference and soldiers continuing to die in Iraq.

I hate that another day has gone by and we've fueled the world with another reason to make us (Americans) the punchline of a joke.

I hate the Hilton family for not having the decency to let their child face her punishment like a grown up and instead showing everyone that the same rules/laws don't apply to the wealthy.

I hate that I'm going to have to endure Sharpton in the news (again) for weeks and hate that someone gave him a platform that I actually agree with (the drastic difference in rules for 'high society' and everyone else.

    I hate myself for caring.

    By maurin, on June 7, 2007 13:04:21

She didn't belong in jail anyway. Some judge tried to grandstand, and now the whole system looks foolish.

Yes she did, you fucking idiot. She had her license revoked and she was put on probation, then got caught driving over and over in full view of 100 cameras. What was the judge supposed to do, huh? Say "stop! Or I'll say stop again!" Grandstanding would have been buttraping her on the courthouse steps for the media, and that would have been awesome.

  48. I just posted this on the LAPD comment link..."So, can we all drink and drive on suspended licences after multiple warnings? I think I am gonna go do it right now! I will only have to cry to get out of jail..or feign PMS cramps or maybe even- nervous breakdown due to lack of Starbucks and roomservice. I am off to have a drink and drive really fast."

    Its not much..

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 14:12:30

  49. actually that judge did screw it all up. his original sentence was a showy hardass move, way too long, unenforceably out of line with what other similar offenders routinely get in that particular legal district. even if she had stayed in jail she would have been release super-early, with the stated reason "good behavior" but actually because they didn't want to get sued for excessive punishment. there are tons of irresponsible multiple dui drivers in the U.S., so they force down the punishments for all but the most extreme offenders (insanely high blood alcohol level, 10 or more dui's and still driving, other evidence of recklessness while intoxicated, etc.).

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 14:17:08

  50. "Grandstanding would have been buttraping her in her mom's bed."

Speaking from personal experience (her mom liked to watch, so it wasn't a big deal).

  51. this utterly pisses me off!! ugh she probably gave some knob jobs to all the guards then was let go. people are gonna hate her even more.

first OJ. now Paris. i think im gonna move to cali and drink and drive then go on a murderous rampage then:
    1) be let go scott free
    2) get sent to jail. then have a nervous breakdown and homefree i shall be!

    By jennyc, on June 7, 2007 14:27:24

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 14:32:02

  53. This is complete bull shit, I'm paralyized in a wheelchair & can't use my right arm and they threw my ass in jail for 4 months, and I suffer from extreme pain which I take oxycontin for which they refused to give me because they don't give you pain meds in the jail I was in. How can she get out and I couldn't.

    By Trax, on June 7, 2007 14:35:21

  54. Enough with all the blather about Paris giving head (or other sex acts) to get out of jail.

    That's what poor people do.

Rich people in this country have more power than law enforcement does. Is this lesson unlearnable or something? Wake up.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 14:41:29

  55. I knew that bitch would figure out a way to get of jail....Oh yeah, I will play crazy and they will let me out! That is some bullshit!

  57. According to the DSM IV I guarantee every person on this planet has at least 5 psychological disorders. My father has a PhD in neuropsychology , has been practicing in one of the best hospitals in the country for 22 years, and his response to this? "If you let me give that bitch a psych evaluation, I could have her committed, no questions asked". However, it IS nice to know the California legal system just set up a beautiful precedent on which lawyers can now rely to get their drunk driving, potentially fatality causing, inmates out of jail. I hope the number of drunk drivers skyrockets.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 16:14:57

    By Ally, on June 7, 2007 17:26:34

  65. Well, you know, OJ did start the trend...that bitch (or anyone else in Hollywood who has money) could get away with murder, literally. Money talks, bullshit walks. Let's face it, there is NO justice in this unfortunately all too often sad, sick world we live in.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 17:42:31

  66. And they don't have an independent psychiatrist that could look at her? They actually believed her own shrink? rotfl

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 17:53:31

  67. that's the problem they do have shrinks that could have looked at her

Rocky Delgadillo (LA Attorney's office) has issued a statement saying he's looking into her early release

    GO ROCKY!

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 18:06:07

  68. Is she even smart enough to commit suicide? The jails take that into account right? Isn't that why they take away your clothes and give you the jumped and slip ons? I'm sure this wasn't a high security section of the prison she was in, but someone still should've been watching her at all times.

By eric chase, on June 7, 2007 18:23:00

    By Fool's Gold, on June 7, 2007 19:33:09

  73. OK, I agree with all of this...it sucks she has bought her way out of endangering other people on the road. I have thought long and hard about it and I think have found a silver lining: whether in prison or a mansion, she's not allowed out in public. So, we SHOULD be seeing less of her for the next month or so. That can not be a bad thing.
I know it isn't much consolation, but I'm trying to find something positive in this abortion of justice.

    By anonymous, on June 7, 2007 19:46:43

  74. The real reason she got let lose is because the LA jail system is grossly overcrowded and they need to save room for violent offenders. Of which, there are many on a daily basis.
Lawyers in the area know this dirty little secret and often get their clients to spend maybe a token day in jail, in lieu of a 30 day sentence.

    By MikeG, on June 7, 2007 19:50:59

  75. Nice! :P :)

  83. The american legal system is far out man! It's so soft its shy.

Jail isn't supposed to be a bloody holiday.

She's entered into some 'tagging programme', but is it the one where she gets a tag in her ear whilst she lines up with the other cows at the slaughter house. No, it's the one where she gets to stay home and party.

America is run by a rich list oligarchy in my opinion.

I'm glad to be European. I wish you all well. I'm off to film some singin'

    By hayden, on June 8, 2007 05:06:28

  85. The actual "medical" reason, which was dubbed a "breakdown" because she's famous, was a freakin' hunger strike. Plain and simple. I've reread a few of the articles over the past few days and they all say she hadn't eaten anything. She pulled the pansy-card out of her deck, and the california court system rolled over. Where I'm from, we have a label for people that use those tactics: Bitch-made. Paris is Bitch-made.

By Harry Dingleberry, on June 8, 2007 05:10:53

  87. Dam this suck so hard. I'm laughing my ass off, and it's not Paris Hilton I'm laughing off. Im laughing at alle the idiotic americans who can sustain this kind unjustice. Paris Hilton could just cry a bit and be released out if jail. While all of you idiots reading this could die in that cell and no-one would care. I'm laughing of all of you idiots... This would never happend here in Europe. Even billionaries have to do their time here. In my country they even have to do manual labouring for the same kind of offence Hilton did.

Just read what that boxing guy "King" was saying of her release. Such ass wipes out there! This chick has done nothing to help society and definitely nothing to contribute to the world even on a small scale. She's getting away based on what? She's mentally retarded - so what? Inject her with something (rat poison seems appropriate) or give her drugs. She'll be thrilled. DAMN YOUR AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM!!!

  91. If she was any normal prisoner, not some publicised herpies infested whore she would have been fucking sedated and left alone. Not put under house arrest.

I hope a drunk driver runs her down.

  92. Todd, I'm surprised you're not more pissed off at this whole thing. My personal reaction when I heard the news was, "Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?!"

Now I will commence my killing spree and then claim mental fatigue so that I can serve out my jail time doing the same thing I'm doing right now, sitting in front of my computer typing on blogs. Think I can't do it? A legal precedent has been set! We can ALL do it! Anarchy in the U.S.A.! Get going, everybody!

  96. I heard she was released because a "stress-related" herpes outbreak that spread to her anus. This is according to a comment on tmz.com. I'm inclined to believe it. Wasn't one of the items recovered from her storage locker a few months back herpes antiviral meds? Maybe she was crying because it hurt to sit down.

  97. Paris got sentenced to jail for violating her parole. She got parole, fines, and community service for the DUI; she was also ordered to attend classes about alcohol abuse, but she never even signed up for those classes.
Repeat, she’s in jail because she violated her parole by twice driving with a suspended license.
She did not get jail sentence ’cause of the DUI. She got probation ’cause of the DUI.
    Understand?
