Beyonce has more money than anybody but Jay-Z, and there's no way she would go to some low-rent artist with (according to his site) something like five pieces to his name. Her whole persona - from her ghetto-fab name to her insta-couture "House of Dereon" clothes - is all about money and fake refinement. That painting looks like those black power back-to-africa pictures that were hot when Shaft was the shit. If Beyonce were going to whip her tits out for a tacky-assed portrait she'd make sure it was done by someone famous, not some dude who paints wizards and demons on vans on the weekends.

  You caught me on that one. I thought the blogspot page was his official site. I wasn't paying attention. After checking out his site, my opinion is the same. The paintings that he's done where the proportions all look right are all copies of photographs and album covers. Anything he's done from scratch has the look of an untrained artist to it. Perspective's screwed up, eyes are wonky... hell, if he painted Paris she'd probably be staring at you with both eye! This guy paints pictures of celebrities, not for them. He's just making it look like they're all commissioned works when they're really just fan art that he's trying to pass off as legit. If you read the copy on the site, it comes off like an aspiring rapper who's using really big words that he doesn't understand:
