Hopefully this comeback attempt will bury Britney once and for all. Not because I hate her - at this point, I don't really care any more - but because this story peaked awhile ago, when Britney had a public nervous breakdown (head shaving and all that). Everybody knows that. It's like the peak we all reached when Anna Nicole Smith died of a butt abscess, bless her retarded intoxicated torpedo-titted soul. THOSE are interesting stories. Not like the VMA story - Britney didn't fail in any type of entertaining way, instead she performed completely strung out, bordering on catatonic. The irony is that her failure is about as interesting and watchable as KFed's. Minimally, she should have had a complete mid-song freakout, screamed and pooped her pants, then flung it at the audience (hitting 50 Cent, triggering a flashback and and causing him scream like a little girl "I'm hit! I'm hit!"). Maybe MTV can put that into the VMA 'remix'.

Hell, even the most minor of celebrities have their fantards. I had one chick call me out one day on MySpace for posting something she considered to be inflammatory on "her boyfriend's" website. Through the bad grammar and spelling errors I was able to determine that she was actually threatening me and my brats...over a guy she'd never even met. A guy who isn't really all that and a bag of chips to begin with anyways.
So I did what any self respecting person would do: I created a fake account, pinged her friends, pretended to be someone I wasn't, obtained her details, found out she was seventeen, printed off the letter she wrote me, had my boss write a nasty letter and sent it registered mail to her parents in Mississauga. Haven't heard anything since.
