By Jane, on September 18, 2007 09:26:12
Screw TV and the Emmys anyway. She needs to move on to movies-only, especially now that she's in the Apatow family.
By take a load off, Katie, on September 18, 2007 09:34:01
Stupid bitch announcer should have done her homework and pronounced the name correctly. I think KH handled it rather well considering. You can bet your ass there are plenty of other Hollywood divas who would have been far less gracious had their name been mispronounced on a national broadcast.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:36:08
She's hot - who cares what she says....
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:36:34
I have no idea who Heigl is, I don't watch that show, but I don't think it's all *that* selfish to correct your name when someone gets it wrong, even on TV... she's probably had to do it most of her life.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:39:22
I hate her teeth. She looks like she's related to Kirsten Dunst. Stuck up bitch should have shut her ugly mouth and been more classy about it.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:39:29
That was TACKY! She should have said something backstage to the producers instead of acting like that. Hollywood is so full of themselves.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:44:03
She's lucky the announcer didn't say "Some stupid ugly bitch" - probably didn't want to confuse her with all the other stupid ugly bitches that were there.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:48:40
The cigarette smoking makes her look uglier, but not as ugly as the ugly bitch in the pink shirt.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 09:50:21
I agree anon 09:48:40
By chuggdog, on September 18, 2007 09:57:59
Jeez Todd, you're the one who needs to lighten up.
Desperate for something to write about here or is it a slow news day in celeb-town? Need to "punch in" with something witty before Jenny beats you to it? Or did you just run out of Midol and Absolut?
I know... you're trying to counter the excess of Britney news. Ah! Good!
This was hardly a bitch-fit. It's a TV show and the people behind the scenes should be better prepared and do a little lead work before the show. This is a celeb who's name must get pronounced 100 frickin' times a day in misc. media outlets. There's no excuse for tanking the pronunciation.
As my boss would say, "do the job right or we'll find someone who will".
Also, for those of us who have uncommon and hard to pronounce names, here's a hint... ask us how we like it pronounced! We'll write it out phonetically for the speech-impaired.
If I'd won a once-in-a-lifetime top award in my career field, Nobel, Pulitzer, Emmy or much sought after AVN (porno award), I'd sure as fuck expect the hired announcer monkey to do their homework and NOT mush-mouth my name.
I hear Paris Hilton's a whore. Run with that yet again.
By John, on September 18, 2007 10:02:12
I wouldnt say ugly. I'd say off puttingly average, with the ability to pull off beautiful once in a blue moon (not for the emmys though).
The more times I watch Knocked Up the more Katherine Heigl acting drunk reminds me of Jessica Simpson acting normal which is saddening.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:04:56
I think she handled it fine.....? what's the big deal?
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:05:42
John is really Katherine "Get my name right or else I will DRONE on about it forever" Heigel.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:06:12
She's a boring looking girl on a boring show. I don't get all the hype.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:06:32
Agreed John: There are far worse things Hollywood starlets have done than correcting the announcer about pronouncing her name. Hell, I've berated people for mispronouncing my name and I'm nowhere near being a star outside of my hometown.
If you can take the time to learn trivia, then you can take the time to learn how to correctly pronounce someone's name. It's simply showing respect.
By Sevenmack, on September 18, 2007 10:06:32
I not a fan of Katherine's but I have an usual first name and I've had to repeat the pronounciation of my name my whole life. It gets tiresome. It gets especially tiresome when it's someone you've known for years and they can't take the time to pronounce your name properly.
Let it go.
By No, it's not JoLENE, on September 18, 2007 10:14:15
My take (and I'm sure you've all been waiting):
The name gets mispronounced the first time. Go backstage, tell someone to please fix it in case there's a next time. Then the name gets pronounced correctly. Say the whole thank you thing and come across as humble and charming. Be done with it.
Instead, she tells the hot guy while walking up to the stage that they mispronounced her name. Then she gets up on stage and calls out the announcer. Makes for an awkward moment for EVERYONE. Then the name is pronounced correctly. She says thank you. But it's not so charming now, because of course the person pronounced it right after she got put on blast on national tv. Makes for another awkward moment.
I'm kind of over her now. Screw Izzy.
By Your biggest. fan. ever., on September 18, 2007 10:14:26
What a kegel bitch...
wait... Ke-gel, Hei-gl... Do you see what I'm seeing???
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:14:53
This is why people change their names to STAGE NAMES. If she "knows" her name is hard to pronounce then she should have changed it when she started acting like most other people in the entertainment industry.
It's not everyone else's fault that your name sucks.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:16:49
She's too "perfect" & I want to see her make an ass of herself like Brit.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:17:55
I also don't understand why Todd thought it was bitchy. She's been around for so long, the announcer should have known how to pronounce her name. All she did was correct her in one sentence with a smile on her face. And when she was accepting her trophy, she just made a little joke about it. She didn't dwell on it and she wasn't mean or anything.
On a side note, she has a REALLY WIDE MOUTH. I wonder if her vagina is also that wide. Hehe.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:19:21
She wouldn't get two looks at the neighborhood bar and grill on ladies night. The world is full of much hotter women.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:19:48
What did she win an Emmy for? I've never even heard of her!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:20:45
SHES NOT A BITCH, IT SUCKS WHEN SOMEONE SAYS YOUR NAME WRONG, I BEEN THERE.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:24:04
Oh please, Anonymous 10:19:48. There are plenty of gorgeous women in Indianapolis, where I live, but Heigl would still stand out. She's stacked and after all these years, has finally gotten the sexy personality to match.
As Bell Biv Devoe would say, I'd smack it up, flip it, rub it down, oh no...
By Sevenmack, on September 18, 2007 10:29:28
She's a cunt, like 95% of the women in her field. Plain and simple.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:31:02
Oh please. My last name is Sanford, and people are ALWAYS mispronouncing it, and mis-spelling it as well. Yet, I never bitch about it. Know why? BECAUSE I'M AN ADULT, not a pissy, tantrum-throwing 5 year old. Either way, I have ALWAYS despised this ugly girl, she is fugly to the max, and she looks like a snotty biatch...and apparently she is. She's also an ex-Mormon, which makes me hate her even more, since the Mormons are the EVIL, and even the exes are horrid and uptight as all get out. She sucks, let's ignore her ugly ass and maybe she'll go away.
By BabyGater, on September 18, 2007 10:31:23
Ya know, for someone who looks like she could gnaw the top buttons off her own blouse, she should really give others a break. Or next time, the announcer won't just mispronounce. Hopefully, said announcer will suggest she rush off to the nearest orthodontist and fix that horrible overbite before she swallows her own tongue.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:42:05
Wow...the bitterness is overwhelming. Whatever your personal opinion of her is (I actually don't have one), that was not even close to bitchy. She just made a joke out of it, that's all, I'm sure she's had to do it often. I don't like it when my name is mispronounced either, and quite frankly, she handled it gracefully. Did you get your morning coffee?
By joker, on September 18, 2007 10:42:28
She's been uptight about names ever since her first boyfriend donkey-punched her for mispronouncing "dirty Sanchez."
By stop referring to your own lives, we don't care, on September 18, 2007 10:43:37
haha the only people are defending her are people who act like jerks when people mispronounce their names. not a surprise :-)
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:44:22
Gee, she was just joking!
Don't be so jealous!
She seems really nice, actually.
Take a goddamn joke!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:48:51
She shouldn't have said anything; it's rude to not only correct someone once in public (and on national TV to boot), but to bring it up again a while later.
Like anyone is going to know who she is in ten years anyway.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:49:15
"Don't be so jealous!"
How the fuck is anyone "jealous"? Do you even know what that word means?
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:51:47
Gotta be honest...I might be a little upset too. How many names did the dude have to know? 15? 20? And he messes up Heigl? Its not Houshmanzadeh for christs sake.
But bringing it up the second time? Thats shitty. You made your point. You won your award. Move on, sweet tits.
By Jim, on September 18, 2007 10:54:00
i totally agree. i've been watching her interviews for a while she is bitchy and whiny and somehow thinks she tough. i honestly cant stand her. i love greys anatomy hate izzy
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:54:25
@ 10:49 - well said!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:54:43
SNL already said it all:
UPS Man (Rob Schneider): Package for a Mr. Asswipe.
Nicolas Cage: Um, excuse me, that’s “Ahhs-Wee-Pay.”
UPS Man: Whatever, asswipe.
By Nick Cage, on September 18, 2007 10:55:00
Sorry, but you don't have to be a jerk for taking offense at people mispronouncing one's name. Again, it goes back to respect: If you can learn something as complex as the Pythagorean theorem or even something as trivial as the name of all Seven Dwarves, you can learn how to pronounce someone's name. Especially if you're an announcer, a professional who should know better.
Those who can just ignore the slight, that's their choice. They are also, usually, the people who get stepped upon by most other folks as well.
Whether or not Heigl's approach was the best, that's a matter of opinion. But anyone who goes through that on a daily basis can understand why someone would be annoyed. Especially when the name is Heigl, not Wladyslaw Pleszczynski (the managing editor of the conservative weekly, the American Spectator).
By Sevenmack, on September 18, 2007 10:56:42
I cannot stand that yellow haired woman. Have you seen her without makeup, she looks just like the character in the movie Monster.
For some reason, she has a very inflated view of herself. I would love Grey's more if they recast her...
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:57:21
I'm defending her and I don't act like a jerk when my name is mispronounced. I correct them, like she did. She wasn't rude about it; she made a little joke. Big deal.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:57:39

LMAO :D
It was the announcer's mistake which was not INTENTIONAL so Katherine didn't need to act like a cunt about it and act like a cunt AGAIN later! Be gracious that you won for that stupid show and stfu.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 10:58:55
I didn't think that was bad at all. Kinda funny. And she is gorgeous. I wish I were that "ugly"

Nothing wrong with nicely correcting the announcer in the first clip. But after that, let it go Blondie ...
By catman, on September 18, 2007 11:01:10
She also said "Oh, shit!" on live t.v. when she won and then kissed her mom with that mouth. She's a real class act.

By nobody will know her name 5 years from now, on September 18, 2007 11:03:09
I thought it was funnier than most of the "jokes." You need to lighten up.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:07:03
She needs to get over herself. She played (very badly) an alien (whooo hoooo) on Roswell. She gets a statue because she shows off her enormous tits on every episode of the equally terrible Grey's Anatomy. That's TALENT!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:08:34
You're bitchy.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:14:26
She also yawns without covering her mouth, which is a nasty, disgusting habit. Anyone who does that in public should be sent to the gas chamber.
By J-Bird, on September 18, 2007 11:16:28
She's IS bitchy and has a BIG MOUTH!
By Cheryl, on September 18, 2007 11:16:52
"haha the only people are defending her are people who act like jerks when people mispronounce their names. not a surprise"
EXACTLY. Some people get all uptight over the DUMBEST things. Wow, if someone mispronouncing your name is a big deal to you, then you REALLY must be a completely unlikable, horrible, uptight asshole. Yeah, people are dying all over the world, and this fug cow is pissed because someone cannot pronounce her name correctly! Waaah! Like she's such a big-time celeb that EVERYONE should just automatically KNOW who she is and how to pronounce her name! Please. She ain't shiat. And to the dumbass who said something about "jealousy"...like 10:51 said, do you even KNOW what that word means? Why would I want to be as ugly and talentless as her? No thanks.
By BabyGater, on September 18, 2007 11:17:07
seeing as how she was nominated for an emmy, the announcer should have known how to pronounce her name. she could have handled it much worse.
i also have a hard-to-pronounce last name. i'm used to it being slaughtered and rarely say anything when it is; but that doesn't mean i have to like the slaughtering. i do however, like having an unconventional last name b/c when someone calls me and asks for ms. me-pronounced-incorrectly, i just hang up b/c i know it's a telemarketer.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:25:33
Gosh, I need a smoke! I can't possibly wait through this entire lunch at the IVY to have one...I better head outside and puff around the photogs. Maybe my cute shoes will detract attention from my ugly sweater.
By Katherine , on September 18, 2007 11:28:28
It was the announcer's mistake. I'd like to see all of you losers try to do live television without mistakes.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:28:57
SNAGGLETEETH!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:29:52
I happened to think she handled it well.
She was trying to be comical of the incident and nothing more.
Although I don't watch this show, or any other "show " for that matter, she still seems to be a well-mannered, pretty lady.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:31:13
That was classless. She should have said something off-camera. She has no manners and that wasn't funny at all. This isn't MTV, Katherine.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:32:55
Why is she wearing my grandma's clothes and jewelry to The Ivy?
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:34:27
Shamefully, this is from Fox News (don't ask), specifically their celeb reporter. Sure sounds like she's turned into a diva, complete with obnoxious assistants:
"Katherine Heigl inexplicably won Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, beating Rachel Griffiths, Lorraine Bracco and Aida Turturro. Heigl is beautiful, but an award-winning actress?
On the red carpet, her publicist picked a major fight with a TV Academy volunteer, too. The publicist was screaming (in front of yours truly, who is not invisible, hello!) at this poor guy’s boss, “I want to make a formal complaint. He’s not to touch my client or speak to her directly!”

I have one of the easiest to pronounce and spell first and last names ever and people still spell it wrong and pronounce it wrong, but I'd never act like she did. That wasn't "joking" that was just her being a rude girl.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:42:22
The announcer was completely unprofessional - it's not difficult to do a run through and get something as basic as people's names correct. I'd wager that most people would have corrected the mistake if it was their name being mispronounced. Why should people have to change their names because of other people's stupidity? And I don't understand how people can call her ugly - fair enough if you don't like her but that hardly means she's ugly! On the positive side - everyone knows how to say her name now (especially the idiot announcer who is probably out looking for a new job).
By Sam, on September 18, 2007 11:43:43
haha what a cunt!!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:46:15
Yeah, she sure made the show all about her when she corrected her name. When are we going to see a post about Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, and Steve Carell overshadowing Ricky Gervais' victory? We're not? Okay.
You don't like Katherine Heigl. You told us that in your last Emmy post when you compared her to a shark. We got it. Is the world really running low on celebrity gossip?
By quoipourquoi, on September 18, 2007 11:48:11

By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 11:55:39
Meh...I think she was entitled to correct it. She wasn't bitchy about it, at least she had the balls to correct the stupid ass announcer. She probably could have done it a bit more gracefully but she was nervous and it was spur of the moment.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 12:11:16
I can't believe she won an Emmy. She totally over-acts. I can't stand to watch Grey's anymore because of her. Ridiculous.
By Hyde, on September 18, 2007 12:11:57
She was the worst actress in that category, I was surprosed when she was nominated but could not believe she actually won! She's terrible!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 12:15:05
Yum, Kyle Chandler...oh, was there something else to the video?
By Brooke, on September 18, 2007 12:23:45
Totally entitled to correct the mispronunciation. And she did it self-deprecatingly and laughed it off. This is some sexist shit right here. No one would have cared one bit if it had been a man doing the correcting.
By wendy, on September 18, 2007 12:32:04
I hate hate hate Grey's Anatomy and I haven't really liked Katherine since "My Father The Hero" came out when she was like 14 but that woman should have read through everyone's name and made sure to pronounce them correctly. It's part of her gig as announcer and if I am winning an Emmy, they better pronounce my name right. It creates fan confusion and when you're on the interview circuit you're going to get a hundred Jann Carl's asking the correct pronunciation of your name over and over and over again. I'm sure it's gets annoying especially if you spent your youth having to correct people on your name as I have.
By EA, on September 18, 2007 12:35:20
Yeah, how did she even WIN that Emmy? She SUCKS! Guess she must have been blowing all of the people who decide who gets the awards, because not only is she ugly, she's talentless and unlikable. Grey's Anatomy is pure crap, and one of the dumbest shows on TV, and Heigl is the most unlikable of everyone on that show, and that is saying a LOT. She is bland, boring and utterly unlikable, and now that she's shown her true bitchiness, she's even MORE ugly than before. Why do they keep trying to make everyone believe such mediocre, unattractive, unlikable women are such hot sex symbols? Why do they keep telling us that we should drool over these bitchy, ugly chicks? Enough is enough!
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 12:48:47
Does anyone else see KH tell KC that her name was mispronounced when he picks her up from the audience, it seems like she goes on about it up the stairs, and his face is like "Geez, shut the hell up already".
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 12:49:02

exactly! Also, I agree with the people surprised that she even won the Emmy. She is a terrible actress and Izzy is a thoroughly unlikeable character -- a bad combination. KH is also average looking at best (even when she is all made up), she smokes and has jacked up teeth to match her self entitled, snarky personality. I wish that Grey's would replace her.

Oh for shit's sake, it's not like she screamed in the announcer's face in front of millions of people. The stupid-ass announcer wasn't even on stage. It was the idiot's job to announce names, and anyone brought up with proper manners (not to mention common sense and a proper work ethic) would have taken the time and effort to ensure that s/he was doing so correctly.

That announcer should have known how to pronounce her name. Hire a fucking professional next time. Personally, I'd probably let it go (I have a weird European name and nobody can ever get it right), but I don't see anything wrong with that she said. She was nice about it too... I saw nothing bitchy in there.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 14:52:16
I agree she shouldn't have corrected the announcer on stage.
It's obvious she has no tact or social skills.
She embarrassed her mother, said the word 'ass' which in real life is OK but not on national television, and then had to throw the mis-pronunciation out there again?

Oh please there was nothing bitchy about that. I get my name misprounced all the time and I'm ususally to shy to correct them. She probably said it's a hard name to prounce to make the annoucer feel better. This chicks only job is to say names, damn then you better say them right.
By Shanna, on September 18, 2007 17:36:25
Good to know Heigl's fans are as classless and tacky as she is. Jerks.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 17:43:37
Heikl, can you say BOTOX brow?
FU Heiql, you're boring!
By Hiegkl could go SH, on September 18, 2007 18:13:41
Tacky tacky tacky. I don't know why so many people confuse bitchiness with being a strong, intelligent woman. A strong, intelligent woman would have corrected the mistake backstage. There's no reason to shame the announcer publicly for not knowing how to pronounce your difficult-to-pronounce last name. What she did was childish, bitchy, idiotic, tacky, etc. Shut your ugly mouth and go away. You get a supporting role on a TV show that's quickly going downhill and all of a sudden, you think you're the shit. Not so fast. The biggest TV stars fall into oblivion quickly and that stank attitude won't help matters.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 18:34:25
I brought this up in the Emmy thread. A classier way of handling the error would be to say,"Hi, I'm Katherine HI-gul.[pause and smile] Kyle and I are so proud to stand together."
To say "It's HI-gul" is an blatant attempt to put down the person who made the error. Yes, the announcer should have all the names down before the show starts, but a graceful woman would not try to belittle announcer.
By Dana, on September 18, 2007 20:08:28
I thought it was cute. She's gorgeous and sexy, and I'd forgive her pretty much anything. But seriously, I've been correcting people for years on how to say my name, and I'm usually less polite than her.
By Jen, on September 18, 2007 20:22:24
Haha, as they're walking up the stage, she mouths to the guy, "They said my name wrong" and he just looks utterly uninterested in what she's saying. Seems like he barely even looks at her. lol.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 20:42:51
Whatever, I thought she was trying to make a joke and it wasn't all that funny, but not bitchiness. Do you people's names get mispronounced all the time? It sucks and you get used to just correctly people automatically.
By lauren, on September 18, 2007 20:53:06
Don't worry, cunt. By the time people get your fucking name right, your career will be over.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 20:54:53
Whatever she was a bitch to Isaiah and the show will suck now.
It's so stupid how every plot line on GA involves cheating.
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 20:56:37
What planet was the announcer brought in from?
By anonymous, on September 18, 2007 21:33:39
alright katherine, take your stupid statue and shut the fuck up. seriously, go back to playing doctor on tv, be happy that you got that stupid fuckin statue and get on with it. Besides, youll be forgotten when your show is cancelled anyway, and do you want your legacy to be that of correcting the announcer? ungrateful bitch!
By snark, on September 18, 2007 22:40:28
Hey snark, you should remember that announcers, like news reporters, have one cardinal rule by which to live: At least get the name right. Not doing so is unforgivable, especially since unlike a reporter, an announcer has little else to do but announce names.
The announcer mispronounced the name; Heigl corrected her. While I know some folks hate celebrities in general, it isn't as if Heigl was being hateful. And besides, the name isn't that hard to get correct. The announcer should have written it down four times phonetically in order to get it right.
By Sevenmack, on September 19, 2007 03:19:57
Umm, yeah...the announcer should have had the pronunciation of the name(s)down-pat PRIOR to the announcement....that't their job, folks! Certainly NOT KH's fault that she needed to correct her. I would have done the same, perhaps less graciously.
By thhbbb, on September 19, 2007 03:29:16
I don;t think her last name is so hard to remember. I've heard of her recently and I can't forget how it's pronounced. It just makes the announcer look unprofessional. The girl is presenting and you couldn't have taken 2 seconds of your time to look up her name? How hard could that be. I don't get it. Having said that I never correct people when they mispronounce my name because they never pronounce it correctly so I don't care. I think Catherine did the right thing because how stupid do you have to be to not be able to remember her name. I mean it's only 5 letters long it doesn;t take a rocket scientist.
By anonymous, on September 19, 2007 06:31:06
I don't see how what she did was bitchy. I'm not a fan of hers and I hate the show, so don't start with that. I thought she handled it pretty well. It would have been stupid to ignore it, everyone heard the mistake and knew it, she just made a little joke about it and moved on quickly ...
By anonymous, on September 19, 2007 06:56:39
There are two different ways to pronounce my name. There are two different ways to pronounce hers- my boss has Heigl for a last name and she pronounces it the way the announcer did. It was a honest mistake. If it wasn't done intentionally, the she should've taken care of that backstage. Bringing up the other persons mistake the second time was sort of classless. In my experience people don't usually like having their mistakes brought up again, in front of people they don't know. I would imagine it would be even worse if it happened on national television.
Also, I don't correct people when they pronounce my name a different way because seriously, when am I going to see them again and what does it matter? Probably never and not at all, really.
And last- Katherine Heigl isn't very famous. This isn't Charlize Theron or Cate Blanchet or Natalie Portman we're talking about. Not everyone watches the show she's on, not everyone saw that movie she made. And I doubt very much that they hire some IMDb genius to announce the award show.
By john, on September 19, 2007 09:42:57
bitch please
yes make sure we know who your dumb ass is, so we wont go to the next heigel movie
By anonymous, on September 19, 2007 17:15:55
My name is difficult to say but I don't get uptight about it... half the time i won't even correct them, if they're someone important to me they'll eventually figure it out. Katherine just sounded awkward and her reaction seemed annoyed even if she was trying to laugh it off.

Real classy dissing her mom while she accepts her undeserved emmy. How many chips can she fit on her shoulder?
By anonymous, on September 19, 2007 19:37:21

By anonymous, on September 20, 2007 15:21:18
What a bitch! Dissed the announcer, dissed her mother, made everything about her...I guess her career is on its way! Oh, and LOVED the bit about working her ass off...as if the 99% of other actors who never get a lucky break don't! BORING BITCH!
By 50 something, on September 21, 2007 09:00:37
Lighten-up. You people such an uptight individual. She corrected her name , what's wrong about that? she did said 'I know it's a hard name to pronounce' so she help them to pronouce it correctly what so bitch about that either. You just want to disgreee just to disagree but if you were in her shoe you would corrected anyone who mispronounce your name right you bitch!! you people such a hippocrate and self righteous. With love our parent took time and plan to choose a name for us and the least we can do to them is make them proud of the name they had given us. I feel so proud when she bravely info. the rest how to pronouce her surname, her grandparents must be so proud and the way she dedicated her win to her mom. At 28 and already an Emmy Winner woohoo. I believed you work your ass off has been paid off since from child modelling to 'King of Hill' at 9 yrs of age and modeling on the side and now Emmy/SAg/GG recognition in yr bag.
