  1. You guys love "that thing Xerxes had" because this is the second reference I have seen on this site recently...well somewhat recently...go Xerxes!

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:23:57

  2. I watched that for a total of three seconds. Danny DeVito was enough to turn me off.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:24:09

  3. I liked the part where she started flying, that was cool. Her voice is nothing great but I love Danny DeVito!

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:27:48

  4. Is this some other award show to add to the heap??..
(grammys, billboard, american music, mtv...and on and on)

Great, another venue for Kanye to cry racism...

    By joejoe, on December 10, 2007 11:28:57

  5. That sucked huge ass, she cant sing and she really trashed that song.

By THE PUNISHER, on December 10, 2007 11:38:27

  6. Say what you will about Fergie, but she is a great performer. I saw her with the Black Eyed peas 3 years ago and she killed it. She really was Amazing live.

    By MEME, on December 10, 2007 11:40:07

  7. I blew my load at 1:02 and didn't get to finish the rest of the video, did it get any better?

    By sammmmm, on December 10, 2007 11:41:44

  8. She started flying? Seriously? I didn't even get that far. I was embarrassed for her. And, afraid. Afraid that someone would see me watching that stupid shit.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:45:51

  9. Meh. It was overblown and chintzy and she was a bit wobbly for my taste, but I thought that was just the way pop stars do things these days. It's not like we can reasonably expect true talent from these people. All things considered, it could have been much worse.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:49:04

  10. Bad, bad, bad.

But at least The Penguin was sober and I'd still nail Fergie.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:49:09

  11. These so called "critics" are really loosing grip on what talent really is. Fugley's voice makes me want to shoot her in the head.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 11:52:17

  12. I really liked it:)

By Hunter Nell, on December 10, 2007 11:54:52

  13. She's hot from the neck down.

    /my only opinion on Fergie

    By Jim, on December 10, 2007 11:57:43

  14. Wasn't that bad, really. I expected a lot worse. I really don't get all the hatred for Fergie when there are much worse, way less talented idiots getting paid to run around on a stage wearing various outfits. And she's not ugly at all in real life, she just takes some ugly pictures.

By Fergie, eh--not so bad, on December 10, 2007 12:08:15

  15. i didnt last more than 30 seconds

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 12:13:59

  16. G-N-R did a better job at that song than the talentless fergie. Hell the retarded guy on "Office Space" would have done a better job.

    By Bill, on December 10, 2007 12:18:46

  17. "she's not ugly at all in real life, she just takes some ugly pictures."

By Fergie, eh--not so bad, on December 10, 2007 12:08:15

Congratulations! You get the award for the dumbest comment of the day.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 12:22:15

  18. I'd still hit it, with makeup and all, but I'd leave before morning.....

And did people really give her a standing ovation???????

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 12:32:03

  19. The problem is that she has only ever heard the Guns and Roses version.... painful. Oh, and she has no talent.

    By Matt, on December 10, 2007 12:42:30

  20. Egads, that was so painful! I originally watched the first 40 secs, then saw the comments and felt compelled to watch the entire thing. Better than Britney, and it's actually bearable if you turn the sound off.

    By iheartlasagne, on December 10, 2007 12:50:32

  21. It's strange - I can normally forgive anything done by a woman in black leather. But Fergie made Axl sound good.

The irony of her singing the lyric "when you've got a job to do, you've gotta do it well"...

By Aussie Damo, on December 10, 2007 13:04:16

  22. It wasn't an awards show, it was a celebration of music from movies. I caught the first hour of the show and really enjoyed it. It started with Beyonce doing Somewhere over the Rainbow, Carrie Underwood doing a lifeless cover of the Sound of Music, Chris Brown trying his hardest to cover Jailhouse Rock. It was a pretty good show, but when the lead cow from the Pussycat Dolls tried to do Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend, I held down the vomit, and turned the channel. Most performances were lackluster and unemotional, but I enjoyed some of the performances. Chris Brown tried to actually emulate Elvis, and he put a lot of heart and effort into his performance, and it really showed. I hate to say it, but I hated hearing some of these performers put an R&B slant on these classics.

    By justin, on December 10, 2007 13:24:50

  23. "Fergie made Axl sound good."

    Amen.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 13:29:32

  24. her voice is kind of annoying for my tastes, but at least she can sing a lot better than shitney.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 13:32:43

  25. I'd pay her 5 dollars to clean my floors.

By Pat Bateman, on December 10, 2007 13:51:42

  26. i thought it was awesome
    but then im easily entertained

    By ian, on December 10, 2007 14:03:43

  27. Doin' Axl's voice AND his dance moves? Hell, why didn't she just come out in braids and a bandana and get it OVER with?

    By TracyC, on December 10, 2007 14:10:36

  28. I get angry just looking at her, and listening to her.

    By candlewax, on December 10, 2007 14:43:02

  29. Fergie is awesome no matter what That's all there is to it.

By just me, on December 10, 2007 14:46:14

  30. I think I just threw up in my mouth

Awful, awful version of Live and Let Die.

Fergie - that song just Let It Be.

    By just-this-guy, on December 10, 2007 14:52:21

  31. Is ugly the new hot or something? Seriously, why the hell does Stacy Ferguson get any attention whatsoever?

    By Tony, on December 10, 2007 15:18:34

  32. i thought it was boss! .. i was expecting it to be proper bollocks but i actually liked it! =S .. sorry! x.

    By Vixen, on December 10, 2007 15:23:55

  33. She was not half bad. not the greatest but certainly not the worst.

    By NubianGoddez, on December 10, 2007 15:28:25

  34. lol. you just admitted that your taste sucks.

    By PoobianGoddez, on December 10, 2007 15:31:06

  35. wasnt this guns n roses before wings did it? whatever, fergies a methed up skank

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 15:49:52

  36. But I'd still hit it!

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 15:56:55

  37. Awful, the ONLY thing that was "ok" was her "flying". Paul's original is the best and ONLY version.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 16:27:26

  38. that was unbelievably awful. my ears are bleeding. i was previously under the impression that this chick could sing....

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 16:36:30

  39. Of all the Bond songs why did they have to pick THAT one? I hate that song.

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 16:37:35

  40. Yea...that was NOT a good performance. She was totally off key sometimes and wandered around the stage, stopped, did a pose and kept on. Truly awful. Just because she isn't as bad as Britney does mean she's any good.

Anyone who thinks this was good just admitted that they have horrible, terrible, possibly THE worst taste in music ever.

    By Alicia, on December 10, 2007 16:49:47

  41. my toes are curling that hurt so much. What the hell was she doing crawling around that stage? *shudder*

    By insidescoop, on December 10, 2007 17:44:24

  42. Well, at least she didn't pee herself. Not that you'd be able to tell in those pants.

    By Julie, on December 10, 2007 18:12:05

  43. Oh, wow, that looked exactly like that movie "Showgirls"

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 18:36:48

  44. The best part of the video? That gay ass gun microphone ... my god ... this is the reason I no longer watch any of these award shows .. it's only encouraging them to become stupider every year ...

    By anonymous, on December 10, 2007 19:16:39

  45. A MESS?!!! WTF?!!
I'M SICK OF THIS!!! We (WOMEN) can't look good with makeup, without makeup, with a bra, without a bra, with plastic surgery or without it. What is there for women to ? Oh YES.... be born a man.

    Unreal
    I'm done.

    By Kattg23, on December 10, 2007 19:25:13

  47. I've seen high school show choirs do this song better.

    By ananymous, on December 10, 2007 21:22:42

  48. Um, Fergs has PERFECT PITCH? The definition of PERFECT PITCH, first of all, is 1 in 10,000 trained musicians, and IN THE GENERAL POPULATION IT'S 1 IN TEN MILLION.

Perfect pitch means you can identify every note of a song merely by just listening. Or, someone sits at a piano and you identify the notes 100% correctly. Fergie can do this? She can sing without monitors and a background track stuck in her ear to keep her on key?

Possibly she has relative pitch, which a musician can be trained to do by drill, drill, drill, and they can identify keys correctly within one half note to one whole note at least 80% of the time.

I like to set it straight when people start throwing musical terms around, because even the best musicians in the world have, maybe, relative pitch. Freddy Mercury, QUEEN, is an example of an individual with perfect pitch right down to QUARTER TONES, which aren't in U.S. Pop music.

I have perfect pitch, went to college for music, and also have a photographic memory with music, which is rare. I would like to see which music professor sat with Fergie and confirmed she had perfect pitch. Mine was Dean of a NY college whose brother was a presidential candidate a few years back.

If you're gonna take credit and make claims, then you better put up and back up your claims and not rely on your assumption that everyone out there is stupid about music, and in this assumption you wind up making an ass of yourself.

Far as I know Fergs, a Hwood rich brat, worked hard at her music lessons and voice lessons. I think she tries too hard with all the makeup and crap, but she does have a nice voice when she's not over-warbling.

    So mote.

  60. Ummm...SWF? Calm. Yourself. This MUST be your first time on this site b/c you do not understand Todd & Jenny and their comments. The "perfect pitch" comment was something called SARCASM. Look it up, Oh Perfect Pitched One. (btw, no one believes you just happen to have perfect pitch either...hee...liar)

    By anonymous, on December 11, 2007 17:56:44

  61. seriously, SWF, thanks for the music lesson, but it's time to take your ritillin now.

By fergie sucks, on December 12, 2007 15:44:45

  65. Fergie's pretty hot never knew she could belt it out like that though. That was pretty damn entertaining to say the least. Britney take notes!!!!!!!!!!!

    By anonymous, on December 13, 2007 15:20:20

  66. she... wobbles. I think it might have been the shoes. I like the word wobbles. So I will say it again.
    She... wobbles!

    By wobbles, on December 15, 2007 22:45:30

  67. I am not a Fergie fan at all. I actually can't stand her. She is another example of how music has declined in the last 20 years. You do not have to have a good voice or any type of "musical talent", you don't even have to have a pretty face anymore. Let's face it, she REALLY DOES look like a tranny....honestly! All you need is to be able to dance (kinda) and have a good body. What a shame.

I do not listen to pop at all, I like heavy metal, but I was under the impression that Fergie had a good voice. Now I know that I was wrong. I suppose she has the right stuff for Hip Hop, but not any other kind of music. She can't actually SING. I could do the vocals she does in her Black Eyed Peas songs....and put on the "wigger accent" too, but if she had to sing Ave Maria, she would really bomb.

Also, this shows how background dancers, flying (haha) and flashing lights can distract people from how awful you really are.

She doesn't deserve to have what she does....but then again, hardly any of them do, do they?

    By jaime, on December 16, 2007 06:57:45

  68. I just seriously wish she would have fallen of that rope or choked her self in the end
