The bad thing is that Mad Money looks like a really cute movie that I'd like to at least try, but I won't watch any movie that has ties to Scientology. It's a good thing she didn't do the Batman movie, she would have been deadly in it. She was terrible in the last one and she would have killed this one. It'd be like the movie started out strong, then she shows up and you go to sleep and never wake up. The whole thing would have turned out to be lifeless. It'd arrive ass-up DOA at the box office. No pill can cure that.

Katie was only halfway decent in one movie, Disturbing Behavior (I know! Go figure!). The other one with her showing her itty bits, yeah.... That was her only interesting moment in the entire movie and, it was a big let down considering my beer man-tits are 2-3 times the size.

She was decent in Dawson's Creek but really should have stopped trying after the show ended. Her "acting" career is marginal at best, but she might have actually had a chance making a name for herself in Hollyweird. Also, I wouldn't waste my time (forget the money) seeing Mad Money. You can see from one glance at the trailer that it's pure cotton-candy fluff. Bad acting -- all of it. It looks like Hollywood is finally recognizing and turning on Scientology for the freak show that it is. I saw that video featuring Cruise and thought it was pretty bizarre. If you've seen the hit FX show Nip/Tuck, you know that it has gone after Scientology big time.

Because he's controlling. Because he didn't want her to expose skin, swear, act violently. He wants her in brainless roles he can control.

She's had a kid (which I believe Tom did not father, by the way) and now she's stuck.

I'm not posting here to rant and gossip. I do believe she's in for a bad haul with this guy Cruise. He was a good actor until he decided that Scientology was his end-all and he was going to impose it on the world.

Some people have come out in his defense: It's his religion; do not persecute him.

We all have our religions. Not all of us -- in fact, few of us -- go around imposing our beliefs. As an actor, his imposing his beliefs, and his using his hugely powerful platform to do so, is wrong.

Tom Cruise is WRONG for forcing his religion on the world. He's not wrong for being a Scientologist. He IS wrong for all of the hubris of late. And, he's dragged his young wife into all of it. And his adopted kids. And now, Katie's toddler daughter.

I was about to write what Jessica did...she didn't do the next Batman movie because SHE WASN'T ASKED TO. Tommy boy wanted everyone to think she turned it down (and leaked to the press as much...), but the reality is that they turned HER down. And I'm glad, frankly. She STUNK up that movie, big time. All of it was great except for her.

And she's not a very strong actress. All she does is blink her big doe eyes (which are pretty much dead-looking these days) and do the funny little twitch/Elvis-type thing with her mouth.

I think she realized her plight a while ago, but is stuck in this contractual marriage for a determined period of time.
