I am not familiar with the laws in London. However, if this woman worked there regardless of the pay for x amount of time,for the private employers (liz and her husband)it seems ridiculous that she is pursuing a lawsuit now. Usually if you don't like a job, think it pays too little, work conditions suck, you get treated poorly, etc etc, you quit and find another job. You cannot just sue every time you dislike something. And how much does it cost in London to take things to court, hire a lawyer and commence a lawsuit? The maid should quit whining and find a different gig. As for Liz?
