Funny how fast people forget. 3000+ people died that day, the stock markets crashed, the hurt, the pain, the insecurity of not feeling safe walking down your own street.
So 4000 of your soldiers died, and 30,000 were wounded (as you state from your DOD numbers). The people affected by 34,000 deaths/injuries maybe total 150-200,000 directly (friends and family) give or take a few thousand.
