She certainly does look odd at times, but that was pretty damn good. "Weak voice in tune" seems waaaaaaayyy to harsh. She's gets under a few notes there, but that's a bitch of a song to sing. And to run out on stage and nail it as well as she did is pretty good.

Fergie didn't suck, BUT it was a mistake to put her up against the awesome voice of Ann Wilson.

Ann's voice is as smooth, strong and sultry as it was when this song was first released in 1977. That's right kids, over 30 years ago.

A song, and an original song like anything Ann and Nancy Wilson sang and wrote is genius classic rock and is beter left alone even though imitation is flattery and it is all money for Ann and Nancy and even though Fergie is taking that great rock song and introducing it to a new artist, it is still very hard to perfect something perfect.

Fergie was better than I expected, but still not even close to Ann's talent. More annoying than her singing, though, was her attempt to make herself the star of the number. She practically shoved the Wilsons out of the way so everyone would look at her. It's amazing how Ann - and most talented performers - can sing without all the gyrations, flinging themselves to the ground, gymnastics, hair-throwing and the like. That's what the untalented do in an attempt to disguise their musical weaknesses.
