Since when is it legal to own a fox? I must have missed that story. And don't foxes eat the occasional bird? I had one try to attack my cat, in broad daylight. They were arguing over who held rightful possession of a dead vole--my cat did--but still, the fox could have gone after my cat had I not interrupted them. My cat was standing UP on her hind legs, punching the fox in the head every time it tried to grab the vole. POW! Never seen anything like it. I was more afraid of the fox than she was, I think. It finally gave up and stalked away in a huff, vowing to return, I'm sure.

To whoever was wondering why the fox didn't look like a Disney fox, yeah--that's what foxes look like. They're actually kind of intimidating. Taller than you'd think, too, a little like coyotes, except for the long muzzle. And there are plenty of rabid ones out there, so anybody who's considering getting on the bandwagon should choose wisely.
