She's not a billionaire and she's never going to be a billionaire. She doesn't own the publishing rights to the vast majority of her hit songs. She makes money off of touring, which is why she goes on monster tours every few years. Sure she makes alot of money, but she has to work for it, unlike, say, the Stones.

Icons are able to stand on their own, but Mad Madge is latching onto younger, more noteworthy stars to keep herself in the demographic eye. The one time she tried to be "artistic" musically, it was a phenomenal bomb that had everyone laughing at her.

Trust me. Mad Madge will still sell records to middle-aged housewives and gay men, and she'll continue latching on to MTV stars to make younger listeners pay attention to her. But her music will continue to be stale, mindless dance pop, and the main interest in her will continue to be pointing out what she's had lifted or botoxed.

I like Madonna's voice. She probably doesn't sound as good live because she is OLD! While I am a Madonna fan, I wish she would tone it down just a bit. Otherwise, she is great!

Did it ever occur to the person who wrote that she uses Timberlake that Timberlake might want to work with her? I think he and I are about the same age--so he probably was a fan too.

These posts were SO funny. =) Her last inspired and honest album was Music. I LOVE the album Ray of Light and still play it often. Since Music, I think her music is totally uninspired and not good. This video was painful to watch. She can't sing, she sounded terrible, Justin seemed to be stifling himself so he did not out-shine her, and their dancing was so stiff and over-choreographed. Again, not inspired. She is so desperate for attention that she latches on to whomever is hot - right now that is Justin. She is USING him, which is what she has done to people her whole career. The problem is that she is so intent on being perceived as a "vital force" in popular music and is so obsessed with radiating youth and sexiness that it makes her a ridiculous clown. There really is such a thing as the dignity of maturity and people like Madonna just don't get it.
