This is why Prosecutors don't want to prosecute celebrities -- there are always tards out there who will muck up the jury and take the celebrities' side. It's easier to make a deal and a plea bargain and it saves lots of money for other cases.
Instead, we should amend the Constitution and make it legal for cops to shoot celebrities out in public. This will help encourage the celebrities to remain inside.
R. Kelly paid the girl off. They should have gotten this trial over with before the girl turned 18. He also married Aaliyah illegally when she was still a child.

We are WAY overdue with a need for "vigilante justice" -- starting with OJ. My neighbor just told me her 18 yr old son is getting a MONTH in jail for STEALING GAS. Meanwhile, Nick is gonna be out on good behavior when?? I dont get the legal system in our country anymore. It doesn't exist.
This is also the same person who had sexually explicit photos in his home in Florida: photos of him engaging in sex acts with an underage girl. The reason why he's not facing charges for that (and why it wasn't brought to light in this trial), is because the judge ruled that the cops didn't follow "proper procedure" when searching his home. This is fucked up.
I think we need to add a rule that when celebs are on trial they can neither be tried within 100 miles of Los Angeles, or their home towns. This and the Hogan results are simply ridiculous, and the sort of thinking both in the professionals involved and among the jury is going a long way towards establishing an aristocracy in this country.

Here's my five cents; If said girl, killed one or two people, she could be charged by the prosecution as an adult, since the argument usually is; that some one making such a horrendous choice to murder some one is thus claiming right of choice to abide or not to do so via the act of ending the life of another. As in the case of Nathaniel Abraham charged as an adult in 1999 at age 13 for the shooting death of a 18 year old. Therefore, if a 13 year old person commits murder, they can be charged as an adult because they made an adult like decision, but if they want to have sex with a famous singer, the singer is automatically wrong because they(the minor) weren't old enough to make a choice of their sexual partners? But is old enough to be charged as an adult? Really? Its either they're to be considered minors or adults and not to be applied with such a lable when its convenient to the public, because if it is, the law is biased and baseless.

I see what you're saying, but most 13 years olds wouldn't kill someone. They know that's wrong, and they know that hurts someone else. Having degrading sex doesn't hurt someone else - it only hurts them, so if they had low self-esteem then they might be likely to do it. If you're in that sort of position (no pun intended) then you've probably been neglected/abandoned/abused by your parents. A 13 year old like that is just young, messed up, and VULNERABLE. He should be taking advantage of other underage kids...Nick Hogan comes to mind.
