I actually felt bad for her when she stumbled while holding SP. That can happen to anyone, I know great mothers who have actually dropped their kids and they would die for their kids. I actually felt bad for her when she stumbled while holding SP. That can happen to anyone, I know great mothers who have actually dropped their kids and they would die for their kids. I can even let go the driving with the baby on her lap (before all the child safety laws, people did stuff like that all the time) and the car seat thing. People make mistakes. HOWEVER, the cigarette thing, hello, the lit end is right by his face for God's sake. Little kids jerk around and move suddenly all the time, she could have easily burned his face. Kate deserved every piece of attack she got. she defended Shitney for almost dropping the child. she defended her for driving without putting the kid in a car seat. the only thing that outraged Kate was the picture of Shitney with the cigarette near the child's face. over that she was outraged. well guess what? the rest of us are OUTRAGED by all of it. none of these incidents ranks as worse or better. they are all incidents that Child Protective would define as child neglect. there's no defending Shitney on any of it. and folks pointed this out to Kate and she responded by calling someone "a stupid homo" [TWICE!], then she deserved every piece of rancor she has attracted. rip her apart! i bet you she will never justify child neglect ever again.

I didn't "defend" or "justify" anything. I simply pointed out that the girl fucked up and while apparently most of you are perfect, I am not, so I can see how a young stupid mother can do stupid things. I don't defend the actions, I never said they were ok. There is a difference.
Second, I responded with the stupid homo comment when someone told me to "just shutup". I was offended as it wasn't provoked by anything other than my opinion, which is what I thought the comments section was for. It wasn't as if this person (or anyone else) nicely "pointed it out" and I just up and attacked for no reason. After reading the comments here over the last year or so I thought you all could handle reading that without freaking out about it, but apparently not. The second time I said it was because I had just spent the last hour or so defending myself against some vicious attacks and I was responding to yet another. So excuse me if I was a little hot at the time.
I don't expect anyone here to be nice to celebrities, but if you can't handle someone not ripping someone to shreds, maybe you could use the scroll bar and not read the post, or maybe you could possibly disagree without the virtual gangbang, eh?

1. I enjoy reading and participating in celebrity bashing, because no one really gets hurt. What I don't enjoy is seeing someone get attacked and crucified, who is clearly getting hurt. That's not fun for me. So I was defending what I like best about this site. The Us against Them camaraderie, if you will.
2. Maybe I'm a little old-fashioned, but I've never had any tolerance whatsoever for bullies. I believe in the unwritten rule that if you're in a fight, and your knee is on their throat, and they say, "uncle", you let them up. To not do so is just cruel, bullying behavior. When she said, "...truce...Deal?", it was time for the knee to come off, and let her up off the ground. Every comment I criticized with 1 exception came after her plea of, "uncle".
That's all...just an opinion.
