They sound great on their tracks and live and are focused on their music. The organisers are the ones who should organise themselves better and understand more what the band and their followings ideas are about.
i love rage against the machine. good for them to stop the show if people were getting TOO crazy. Zack is SO hot!!! can't wait for their next album! this also shows how popular they still are
this show was fucking fantastic, i was dead center, right ahead of the main pit. we DID back up every time zach asked us to, but whenever a song started people would rush the front again.
That crazy shit LOLLAPALOOZA is back??? hahaha that fest sucked thats why they stoped guess they are back since OZZFEST won't be on this summer, stupid ass people always fuck concerts up BUT no one got shot like IT WOULD HAD HAPPEN if it was a RAP CONCERT bullets would be flying and knifing so keep ROCKIN N ROLLIN
I've seen RATM several times and each time they were better than the last. Incredible band. One of the few very sincere, truly talented bands to come out of the 90's.
Saw them at "The Battle of Alpine Valley" (Wisconsin, and yes, it is THE RATM tee shirt of all time. They were fantastic and everyone had a blast--up to our ears in mud. For some reason the front was not sold out, so everyone just moved forward. Party in America's Dairyland not the City of the Big Shoulders, Hog-butcher to the nation...
I was there up front for Rage and it was crazy but not insane. People who needed to get out got out and people who could stand getting a little pushed stood strong. Once people started jumping they got more room. Rage is rap music. It's rock too but Zack is definitely rapping
Jesus -- I was at that show, working a camera for the video system. I had to run for my life when a bunch of people crashed the security barrier behind me...

With a band name like "Rage Against the Machine" I wonder why fans are adverse to obeying security personel and authority figures.
Strange.

That's why I hate concerts that don't have assigned seating and bif teams of security. People are just too stupid and violent at concerts like this.

At least Dave King responds to his fanmail.
