As for the choices themselves, I think Depp would rock as The Riddler. Hoffman as Penguin I'm less sure of, since I don't really like Penguin, but I'd give Nolan the benefit of the doubt.
I hope Johnny doesn't get overwhelmed by the role and get into a really dark place and end up overdosing.
Haha, just kidding. Depp's not nearly the whimp that Heath was. Although...if you add a few age lines and maybe punch her in the mouth, Mary-Kate Olsen looks a lot like Depp's wife. Spooky...

I have say that I was pretty underwhelmed by Ledgers performance as the Joker. I think anyone could have played the role as he did, and that lip licking he did really got on my nerves.

I agree, Justin. Also, there's got to be about 6 billion Batman villains available, can they please do some that haven't already been covered in previous movies (regardless of some of the previous movies' "suckage")? It's getting a little boring.
I think The Dark Knight was overrated because it's been the only movie worth spending any money on at the theaters, and I agree I'm already bored with the same Batman movie characters getting played again no matter how good the actors are. Either find Batman characters that haven't been done yet or move on to a new comic book.
Micheal Caine was sooo taking the piss. People never realize when they are being screwed with.
Also, only the good/interesting Batman villians have been done. There are others, but they all suck. Wiki batman villians and you get a virtual smorgsboard of dumbass villians.

yes there are absurd amounts of batman villains, but the vast majority are cheesy as fuck, and wouldn't fly in a modern day movie - can you imagine the Minstrel up in a movie? re-tar-ded.
