So lets be fair, all she's saying is she would have fought to be out from oppression and occupation. Which anyone of you would do if your home land was occupied and oppressed. I guess the misconception of this is, the more recent memory of the IRA is bombings and so forth when the British occupation had calmed down a lot. They weren't as violent an oppressive an occupier, but it wasn't much before that they were. I suggest people go and read some history about it.
I suppose I would have liked to have been a plantation owner in the early 19th century or perhaps a Brit colonizer in 19th century Sudan...wherever I was, I would have her around to serve me grapes and aureola...
