3. The girl has ben intreatment a few time for anerexia. Obviously , she is not totally better yet. maybe she is gettingbetter ,but it does notlook like in weight gain to us. Hopefully,they put her in treatment and keep her off of read carpet events when she is not healed and this makes it all worst for her insecurities and self-image, self-everything. 4. I could understand why she is like that. Imagine constantly being surrounded by beautiful thin models and comparing yourself to them. Not to mention having a mother who is also insecure about her looks. I hope she can overcome this. I dont know her, but from the pictures she comes across as being a sweet kid.

    Donatella doesn't have to be Mother Theresa...I know how hard it is to deal with anorexics, I was one. BUT she doesn't need to enable her daughter by parading her on the red carpet, she could refuse her daughter that priveledge and spare her the humiliation. You don't just gloss over the situation by putting her in a pretty dress and makeup...my parents refused to buy me smaller clothes because they wanted me to realize how small I had shrunken and deal with the reality of my sickness. Not reward me with new clothes and parties. So, yeah, fuck Donatella and her plastic face.

    BTW, #9, Bulemics typically ARE skinny. They PUKE, remember? Some of them don't purge as much as they binge so maybe they're not all skinny, but by definition a bulemic is somebody who gets rid of the food after they gorge themselves, not just somebody who stuffs their face because they can't stop. (That would be what we call a "Rosie O'Donnell".)

32. Poor young woman. She's 22, worth a gajillion dollars and has, reportedly, been struggling with anorexia since she was a kid. One of worst things about the disease is that, according to the American Journal of Psychology, it appears to have the effect of permanently altering the way your brain is wired. It is a complex problem and the result of a number of factors - not just hanging out with skinny model chicks or a dominating mother. It is so easy to plop all this in the lap of super duper scary Donatella (let's face it, she's terrifying) but that would simply be wrong and unfair.

33. Little Miss Sunshine (aka #28) bulemics are not typically skinny. They don't really gain or lose weight at all. Those who lose weight are those who have a weird hybrid of anorexia and bulemia; where they go forever without eating and then binge and purge. The true bulimics never really lose any weight because they still absorb some of the fats and proteins and things while they are binging and most eat fairly normally most of the time.
