Good. Tired of hearing these degenerates talk about politics. Just read your lines, monkey. You have the easiest jobs in the world and are millionaires. WTF do you know about real life?
#7 - No, there are actual Black Panthers on video intimidating white people at the door of the polling place. One of them got arrested because he was carrying a nightstick.
i really disagree. there is no reason a celebrity should be closeted about who they're voting for unless they want to be. and i dont think supporting a candidate in any way "tells people" how to vote. instead it has the possibility of considering their choice--whether to reinforce it or change it. she's the one believing people are so dumb they'll switch their vote just because matt damon says he's supporting obama. my bet is she's voting for mccain and is embarrassed and doesn't want backlash since most of hollywood supports obama.
I think the way should could have sad it "better" is by saying, "If you vote for someone because your favorite celebrities tell you to, then you're stupid."
She's right. People should do their research so they know what they're voting for or they shouldn't vote at all.
"there is no reason a celebrity should be closeted about who they're voting for unless they want to be"
"closeted" lol Yes, you're gay and you're voting for Obama because for some reason all gay people think Obama is going to wave his magic wand and make their lives better.
Wow this just goes to show how ignorant people in our society are...this is why people like George Bush are elected to office, thank you America! Fucking idiots
Carrie U is a confirmed dumbass! While I respect her right to privacy (and to share her stupid opinion), she should respect other celeb's right to share their opinion on an important matter like this. I've not heard one celeb say "vote for who I vote." I, for one, want to know what they are about (including this dumbass). I can disagree, just like I disagree with this bitch. BTW, Tony Roma has moved on and so should you.
Wow, Dawn, you sound like a fucking moron. There are a lot of people who will vote for whoever their fave celeb is voting for because they're too stupid to figure it out on their own.
And Tony Romo is with Jessica Simpson, I don't think that is moving on. That is being a moron.
Jessica, you're the moron, if you would vote for someone just because a celeb says they are!...(no one I know would)...P.S.. If Tony is staying with Jessica Simpson and dumped Carrie's ass, then Carrie must be a super moron.
I wish "celebrities" would quit complaining about other celebrities exercising their constitutional rights. Underpants, go back to polluting the commercial airwaves with your fake country warblings and pathetic attempts to torment Jessica Simpson. Stop talking when the band stops playing.
#24 and #25 are both perfect examples of liberal extremists. They are all about hate speech and bullying unless it's directed at them or their political party. Reactionary cowards.
Blah, blah, blah, Dawn. I actually did my homework before voting. I was simply saying that there ARE people out there who will do whatever their "idols" do/support.
#12- Carrie is a country singer. They aren't as hardcore about who you vote for. Hollywood is a loooot farther left than Nashville so if Carrie did vote for McCain, they wouldn't hold it against her.
Dear God, would everybody PLEASE cklick on the Stern video? These are the morons who just elected a 1/2 black muslim, for our President, less than a decade after 9/11, thinking they were electing the first black President, and they have not a clue what he believes in!
Carrie isn't some dumb hillbilly, she has a 4 year degree with honors from Northwestern. Why do you people always have to put down any white person who dares to speak their mind? Carrie is right, celebrities like Diddy are narcissistic assholes flapping their gums because they think they are more important than the rest of us. I find it amusing that all these celebrities are so willing to back a man who spent 20 years of his life in a racist church. Can you imagine any of them supporting a white candidate with 20 years of KKK meeting in their background? Double standards apply in Hollywood of course....
Carrie went to NorthEASTERN in Oklahoma, moron...she might not be dumb but she's no rocket scientist and there's a pretty big difference between the two schools.
blacks have always historically been democratic. they have never supported a republican candidate. howard stern is drawing the wrong conclusion from this.
Carrie is a democrat by public record. Carrie is not a member of PETA she is only a vegatarian by personal choice. No one knows who she voted for because Carrie has class. No one should talk about who they voted for, its private, and none of anyones business. As far as campaigning goes, everyone has freedom of speech but I don't care what any celeb has to say and its wrong to use the media as a public forum for their opinion.
#41 why do you call her dumb? She's far more successful than you and has a college degree so obviously she is a smart girl. If you need an idiot celebrity to tell you how to vote then obviously it's you that isn't a rocket scientist. Actors and musicians are wastes of life who don't have any more validity than my garbage man.
You know what's stupid? Someone saying that some people can't share their opinions. Celebrities have as much right as anyone else to say who they want to vote for and who they voted for. If you are stupid enough to vote for a candidate just because your favorite celebrity said they would, then you should really just not register.
But she's essentially saying that Americans are too dumb to make up their own minds so they'll listen to someone who has a talent for playing pretend or has a good singing voice...
It's really condescending that she thinks people will just vote along with popular celebs -- most people that are voting have more common sense than that (key word being 'most'). She shouldn't bash others when they mainly are just saying to VOTE, not necessarily who to cast your vote to...and it IS important to vote so with celebs being in the media all the time, what better medium to get the message out?
She is right. Celebrities SHOULD keep their mouths shut when it comes to who they would vote for.
She isnt saying Americans are dumb...but there ARE quite a few misguided souls out there who cant make up their own mind and have to be told what to do. For example...that Longoria bitch who is selling just about every product on the planet. They target the public that believes everything they hear. So, there are gonna be those idiots who will buy the stuff because she says she does.

The Stern video is good, but the video of the Black Panthers intimidating white voters in Philadelphia today is better.

I'm surprised you didn't use some of the new Elle pictures of Carrie Underwood. There are a couple of hot B&W shots they got.
I get what Carrie's trying to say about celebrity endorsements but I think she could have said it better.

Clearly if Underwood supports Obama she pisses off the country community. But if she supports McCain she pisses off her worldwide fanbase.
Saying nothing is purely the best career option for her.
