  1. how did they know she was wearing real fur and not fake? i really wonder that when they do this to people.

    By Niecy, on November 16, 2008 21:03:14

  2. I never understand these PETA nutcases. I mean, why stop at fur? These animals are raised for their pelts, just like cattle are raised for meat, and leather. Chickens, and pigs are raised for meat, sheep, turkeys, ect.- the list goes on.

Real fur has been on the outs for years, but if someone wants to wear fur, it's a free country and no one has a right to harass them. Having said this, now let the kool aid drinking PETA zealots begin their rantings.

    By anonymous, on November 16, 2008 21:11:11

  3. It's not that extreme. You have think about what kind of fur it is and how the animal was killed.

Many animals are starved and skinned alive for those clothes. Many animals are clubbed to death so Lindsay Lohan can wear their skin 1 time on the red carpet.

The people who wear these furs do not live in extreme climates and they did not hunt and kill these animals for survival.

    By anonymous, on November 16, 2008 21:18:27

  4. Who fucking cares, they are mindless animals and there will be millions more identical ones to replace them.

    By anonymous, on November 16, 2008 21:38:25

  5. Have you ever eaten a hamburger? Do you know how cattle are killed? Slaughter houses herd them into chutes and an automatic sledge hammer hits them directly in the skull and it kills them instantly.

As for "skinning them alive", with most animals that it impossible. Skinning these animal for their valuable pelts requires that the animal be dead already, and there is a careful, and precise way to remove the entire pelt to prevent damaging it. Damaged pelts do not sell. It can make the difference between a $10.00 pelt, or a $100.00 pelt. Hopefully (as with ALL animals used for fur, or food) they are humanely killed, but "skinning them alive", -that is both, untrue, and impractical. However the baby seal atrocity is still occurring in Canada every year. NO ONE should ever purchase a garment with this kind of fur. Most of these furs are shipped over to Norway, China, and Russia. None are shipped to the U.S. which bans the sale of this fur.

  6. I bet many of you PETA haters would be appalled if someone took your family dog and whacked it over the head with a lead pipe. That's right, I went there! You'd be screaming bloody murder if old Yeller or Lassie were skinned alive. But hey, it's perfectly acceptable for a seal or a mink to suffer the same treatment, right? Hypocrites.

    By anonymous, on November 16, 2008 22:10:33

  7. Fuck that 6. nobody wants to wear dog fir that's not EXTREME plus they like to roll around in shit. Seals get eaten by whales all the time and your not bitching about that. So I guess we shouldn't kill cows so we can't have beef. Hypocrite that dildo. The animal is already dead no saving it...PERIOD!

By Seal Clubber Extraordinaire, on November 16, 2008 22:41:59

  8. Lindsay won't admit she's gay, because she isn't, she won't admit she's using her famous Jewish friend for her connections and money, she's using all of you and voted McCain/Palin. You all lose.

By she's long island trash and used all of you, on November 16, 2008 22:47:21

  9. Hey number 7... I'd respond to your drunken rant, but it's too indecipherable to understand. Next time you want to debate, don't drink a six pack before-hand, alright??

    By anonymous, on November 16, 2008 23:11:01

  10. That fur she's wearing looks fake, not that'd I'd really know the dif, but it looks fake to me.

This PETA crap makes me WANT to wear fur. For shits and giggles, just to piss them off. I mean, A LOT of fur - like a head to toe Chewbacca suit.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 00:10:07

  11. You see.. The difference between eating meat and wearing fur is that at least eating meat is eating food.. Witch is one of the basic things you need to do to survive.
When they raise animals for fur, they have them in small cages, their claws don't get cut, they get hurt. You can actually buy ecological meat and eggs-so secure that the animal has a little bit better life than standing in a barn all day. Besides, the difference between having hens in a cage with movement and having fox in a cage with no movement is clear. The fox has other instincts than the hen/chickens. The fox needs it's running space. No animals has a great life before they turn into someones' fur. I wish I could use human skin and make handbags.. or lindsay lohans dog.

  12. Does anyone know if Lindsay tried to snort the white powder off herself? She probably thought it was a party favor.

The baby seal trade is vile. They are treated very cruelly and anyone who wears that type of fur is an asshole. They do skin those poor babies ALIVE, I've seen the videos.

By Baby seals should be left alone, on November 17, 2008 01:02:04

  13. Just goes to show how no one learned a lesson from 9/11.

That could have been a toxic substance like Anthrax or something and those morons just let that woman leave.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 01:04:16

  14. Pity they didn't pelt her with a cartridge full of buckshot.

    By BarbadoSlim, on November 17, 2008 02:45:13

  15. "Does anyone know if Lindsay tried to snort the white powder off herself? She probably thought it was a party favor".

Well she was heard yelling "Oh my GOD!", but then they went and cut off the last part where she yelled "Is it Christmas already?" So I think it's safe to assume she snorted some of it

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 03:00:02

  16. PETA people are the worst and just give their cause a bad name, they go about it the wrong way and end up looking like dumbasses. makes me want to wear more fur and leather too, and go get some chicken!

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 03:03:12

  17. Yes cattle are herded into chutes and killed. And why is that? BECAUSE THEY ARE RAISED FOR FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your average Dachshund isn't. Animals have been bred and raised for human consumption for a while now. GET OVER IT!

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 03:40:21

  18. Too bad it wasn't anthrax.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 03:40:48

  19. LOL, that was hilarious! I loved it! There should of been someone at the other side with a bucket of water....now that would of been a fine mess!

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 04:56:26

  20. them eat industry and the fur industry are seperate entities. at least meat (and leather) animals are killed as quickly as possible. Fur animals are skinned ALIVE. See the videos online. Is sick. Lindsay should know better, whore

    By ella, on November 17, 2008 04:57:29

  21. This may sound like a quantum leap here, and I am not hijacking this thread, nor making a pro-life statement because I am a pro-choice person, but I once had a discussion with a PETA zealot and someone brought up late term abortion. The PETA zealot said that killing a human child in the womb was OK, but that killing animals was a sin because they were "animals". Extremist of any kind don't have right to force their opinions on anyone.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 05:18:48

  22. She's a no-talent butterface. I'd say it's a step up from only being a queer pop artist's made-for-tv girlfriend.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 05:21:37

  23. I bet, for a moment, she was all excited at the notion of powdered sperm.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 05:23:42

  24. #13, exactly what I was thinking!

As for PETA, I read an interview once with the founder and she basically said she KNOWS they go overboard. She said that they know they can't change people's minds, they just want to make sure the issues are in the public eye. thus, the super-public ridiculousness. To be honest, I suppose it works. She ALSO said that most animal activist groups do not want to be associated with them. So please, those slamming humane treatment of animals? Realize that PETA people are not the only peeps who care. :) They're just the crazy ones. I think the founder knows what she's doing, I think most of PETA's activists do not realize.

So I have a vegan friend. I told her that I don't use products tested on or made with animals, but that I still eat meat and I feel a bit guilty. She said that every part that anyone does helps. This is a normal activist. She didn't disown me or pour a bucket of blood over my head. I think she's right, you do what you can.

But fur? Really. That's just silly that the industry still exists. It really isn't even attractive and it DOES SMELL. Most animals for fur are not skinned alive, although seals are. The others are generally electrocuted through the anus and down the throat, as it makes the fur stand nicely, and kills without damaging the product. SO it's NOT humane, and neither is factory farming. Who am I to talk? I eat meat.

Also I am surprised Lilo didn't start rolling around and giggling in it.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 06:44:16

  25. WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS TALENTLESS WHORE HAVE A SECURITY DETAIL? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHE'S BEEN IN A FEW B MOVIES AND FUCKED A BUNCH OF ACTORS. BFD. GO AWAY SLUT.

    By coolpapa, on November 17, 2008 07:52:51

  26. She`s used to snort and swallow white things.
I would have thrown her some rotten eggs.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 07:54:48

  27. Nice that her boyfriend Sam tried to defend her.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 08:43:07

  28. Have you ever eaten a hamburger?

It tastes just how it smells...delicious!

    By Niecy, on November 17, 2008 09:06:48

  29. If this were me, every person on my so-called "security" staff would be fired for letting that asshole run off rather than stay and face the music---which would probably be administered by me personally.

    By NOTlilo, on November 17, 2008 09:17:13

  30. No, we shouldn't kill cows. It's not necessary, nor is it humane.

Most peta activists are idiots, don't get me wrong. But people wearing fur is no different than people eating dogs, or wearing a beaver hat.

The animals are poorly cared for, and the methods they use to harvest damn near everything is barbaric.

#4 - who gives you the right to decide what is "mindless". Hamsters are mindless, you want us to skin those for hamster wristbands? No? Why? Because people keep them as pets. Should we make iguana keychains? Are rabbit feet good luck charms REALLY okay?

Listen, I don't agree with what 90% of peta, or their ilk, do - but don't dismiss the underlying nature of what WE as humans do in order to make our lives "fancier".

Also, remember that this was just flour. It could have been red paint which was huge back in the 80's, at least the extreme nature of their stupidity has been reduced.

As for why they do it to stars, because it gets attention.

Wearing fur is like smoking now, we as humanity know better.

    By Nick, on November 17, 2008 09:18:55

  31. Sam always has some fur eating grin on her face.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 09:38:44

  32. In China they skin cats alive for their fur so it's not just seals that suffer. And as for factory farming that shit is so fucked up. Death is like a sweet escape for those poor animals. That's how miserable their damn lives are. Anyway it's been proven that we don't need to eat meat. Hell I haven't had it in 3 years and I've lost weight plus I'm the healthiest I've been in a long time. And no, I'm not a member of PETA. Just a regular American citizen who wants humane treatment of animals.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 10:49:21

  33. I thought Lindsay had stopped wearing fur after PETA collared her about it a few years ago. Whilt I agree with many of PETA's aims, they are really just fame-whores. I used to get their magazine "Animal Times" and it was full of D-list "celebs" and sports stars and very low on substance and depth. Most of their stunts are just about being noticed, not about helping animals or actually achieving anything. Very sad.
Join "Animal Aid" or "WSPA" instead.

    By Anthony !!, on November 17, 2008 11:23:49

  34. #30...LOL at the hamster wristbands. Need to get me some of them. Maybe a bear skin t-shirt too. It's cold here in Canada!

  35. God i hate the french.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 12:05:13

  36. You know, I hate to say it...

Actually, no I don't. I'm gonna call bullshit on this. It smells like a publicity stunt. Lindsay Lohan goes to a club in Paris wearing fur, and there just happens to be a crazy nutjob standing outside with an open bag of flour? Waiting to take offense? Kind of convenient, isn't it?

And flour? Isn't the weapon of choice usually paint?

Something smells in the French Quarter, and it ain't for lack of deodorant.

    By Vigilante, on November 17, 2008 13:40:32

  37. hillarious...classic. i can watch it all day over & over again and never get sick of it, almost like ace ventura...good shit.

    By SBhaha, on November 17, 2008 13:45:44

  38. Jesus, man, looking at that video reminded me why I stopped going to nightclubs (being over 40 helps): what a bunch of lowlife pathetic scumbags, the whole sorry-assed lot of them. And the guy in the stupid fucking hat acting all cool. Pffffff. You're at least 50. Grow up and go home, moron. No chick is gonna wanna fuck your sorry ass unless you have millions under that pretentious little hat of yours.

You have to wonder about a "world" in which people like Lindsay Lohan are treated like fucking royalty. Give me a break. I hate animal activists but I'm glad that woman humiliated her, even for just a little bit. She deserves all the humiliation she can get, stupid little twat with all the gorillas around her "protecting" her stupid ass like she matters to this world.

    By angryman, on November 17, 2008 13:47:06

  39. who cares. the point is lohan is a stupid, druggie slut and the video is hilarious because, once again, she is a stupid, druggie slut.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 14:13:36

  40. #36, Vigilante, that came to my mind as well. Seems Lindsay Lohan can't leave the house without something dramatic happening. But then this really may just be the way of her life.

But the Ugly Betty "feud" was definitely publicity -- not on her end, but on ABC's. The conflict between America and Lindsay was taken from the script of the show. She had finished filming all her episodes anyway.

    By anonymous, on November 17, 2008 18:00:37

  41. They should have powdered saMANtha. She's the one who likes to munch fur. I'll bet she's just cannibalistic for fur. I think they should check LL for cataracts - she obviously couldn't see it coming and she obviously can't see saMANtha's face.

By Dr Rauch, on November 17, 2008 18:23:56

  42. You know what Peta people? I'm going to go out and eat an extra burger tomorrow just for you. Damn you people piss me off.

    By anonymous, on November 18, 2008 01:15:49

  43. I'm a better looking man than Ronson - you can ride me any day Lindsay.

    By anonymous, on November 18, 2008 08:07:10

  44. To all Idiots that think FUR is great:
Wearing fur is sad. Killing animals that are not meant to be consumed is vile. Understand the difference some of the other bloggers want you to see. CLUBBING a defenseless baby seal is disgusting! Yes these little animals are killed by whales...but thats nature. They are a source of food for these whales and thats a fact of nature. Do you see the whales wearing them as a coat? no.
Foxes, mink, chinchilla, arctic fox and all those other creatures are not meant for us to consume anymore...maybe back in 10,000 b.c....but not anymore. It is cruel to cage these animals and shove them in small cages forcing some to breed radically for some of you to enjoy wearing them as a handbag!
So before you think that some of us are saying that killing all animals is bad, well some of us are not. I eat meat on occasion and I do consume meat that is cruelty free as possible. Although ultimately they where raised to be eaten. I dont wear fur because the type of fur that is so fashionable is cruel. Those animals were not meant to be fur, they are meant to be free.
Well, if you love to wear fur, why dont you wear hide? Or chicken feathers? or a turkey gizzard as a hobo handbag? Its soooo Fashionable.

    By anonymous, on November 18, 2008 15:41:22

  45. For the jackass that said they don't skin them alive....YEAH THEY DO! I'VE SEEN VIDEO OF IT!

It was a fox...they beat it up side the head...they then stepped on it's head where you can see blood and other matter ooze from it's nostrils...then they tied it's hind legs so it was dangling upside down...they start to cut from the hindquarters and slowly rip the skin and fur from it's body exposing nerve endings, tissue and muscle...the next shot they show is the twitching of the eyes...the tongue is dangling out of it's mouth...and then you see it breathe and move...with it's bare bloody body exposed...in undoubtably extraordinary pain it is STILL ALIVE!

IF SOMETHING LIKE THAT DOESN'T EFFECT YOU THEN YOU ARE A COLD TWISTED INDIVIDUAL AND I TRUELY FEEL SORRY FOR YOU.

    By anonymous, on November 18, 2008 15:58:57

  46. OMG #45

I heard of them skinning them alive...but I have never seen it before. That is sooooo sad. I actually have an old mink my grandmother left me, but have never had the money or need to buy fur for myself. It makes me sad to see it. It ACTUALLY did make my stomach turn when i read your blogg.
I cant imagine it. ALIVE!? How can they do this? I have pets and i imagined them having that done and it made me sick.

ANYONE that is ok with animals being TORTURED AND MURDERED for their fur has no shame and is plain sick. ANYONE that doesnt feel horrible imagening what #45 just wrote is dimented and sick. Im not even donating my fur. Im tossing it in the garbage. Grandma is sadly gone but she left me other memories i can remember her by. She doesnt need her fur anymore and i never wore it, so i dont either. SICK!!!!!!

    By nikkibeach, on November 18, 2008 19:03:06

  47. Yes, and they have footage of dogs, crammed into filthy, tiny cages being sold for food in some remote Asian locations, licking the hands of the people that are starving and beating them to sell as food.

There are HORRENDOUS atrocities that happen like this all over the world, but this does not mean that all food, and fur animals are subjected to these cruelties. Many countries have laws, and guidelines that require humane traps, and handling. Not every fur being worn was ripped off of a living animal.

I think people should only buy fur from reputable dealers who do not deal with these places, and yes, they can check where the fur has come from, but that being said. It is still a personal choice. Whether you like it or not.
